[QUOTE="biggerdjam"][QUOTE="Pirate700"]I think he means 4 classes per semester seems low.

Pirate700

Like Every High School i know of has 4 classes each semester and there like and hour and a half long each class

Mine had 6 but senior year I had 6th period off so I only had 5.

I live in Louisiana (which has a fuc'd up education system ) and if you are a Senior and have enough credits to graduate, you can go Home early at like 11-12 instead of like 2:30 or 3 o'clock.

[QUOTE="LZ71"][QUOTE="biggerdjam"][QUOTE="VanHelsingBoA64"] wtf kind of high school are you going to where juniors just take 4 classes at a time

ummmm..a normal highschool is guess lol. I have never seen a high school NOT semester based.

I've never seen one that is. My high school is mainly year long courses with a few semester ones thrown in. Seven periods, each one every day, around 50 minutes each. Also pre-cal is easy, so don't be worried about that either. It's quite boring though.

Yea Pre-cal might be easy but i'm scheduled to take AP calculus my Senior year which i think is college level bc the information is straight from college books(what my counselor told me). Also if the school is not semester based with 4 classes each semester, then how are you supposed to double up on a core class like math or science? Also 50 minutes seems kinda low for a learning period lol

[QUOTE="biggerdjam"][QUOTE="VanHelsingBoA64"][QUOTE="biggerdjam"] No those are all my classes for the whole school year. It is going to be split up into 2 semesters with 4 classes in each semester. Use your common sense- how can i take Alg2 and Advance math at the same time?! Advance math requires Alg2 so Alg2 is going to be 1st semester and Advanced math is going to be 2nd semester lol

Junior year typically seems to be the hardest year in most high schools for whatever reason. Eight periods though seems to be an awful lot of classes.

[QUOTE="comp_atkins"]sounds fine. if you breezed though all your non-honors / ap stuff you should be taking honors level anyway. LZ71
This. Though that isn't to say you'll be doing just as well in the honors/ap courses as you were in non-honors. But you should challenge yourself anyways. I took most of those classes (no idea what advanced math covers, desktop publishing and PE3 weren't offered), and as long as you study you'll be fine.

Advanced math is the same thing as Pre-Cal. I should have phrased is "advanced math/Pre-cal"

Me and my mom sat down with the Councilor at my school and the Councilor let me choose what i wanted to take my Junior year.

Here is what im set to take-

1. English 3

2. Honors Alg2

3. Honors Advanced Math

4. Honors Chemestry

5. Spanish 1

6. PE 3

7. Desktop Publishing

8. AP U.S. History

I made all A's my Sophemore year but i did't have any Honors or AP classes. It was all regular classes. You think my schedule is too hard for someone who has gotton all A's and Excellents on EVERY single End of Course test so far in Highschool?

[QUOTE="NaveedLife"]

[QUOTE="Pirate700"]For me, even though I don't have acne anymore (knock on wood), I've honestly found the best face wash is regular antibacterial hand soap. If you're somebody who washes their face 4-5 times a day, I wouldn't do it, but if you're a morning and night washer, I've found it's done wonders for me.

Pirate700

thats likely because it keeps oils off your face and because it dries out your skin a lot if you wash a lot.  thats essentially what the pill does, but it dries up your oil glands.  With that in mind, it kinda creep sme out :P.  soap is fine, maybe nto super healthy if used too much, but still fine.  the pill, meh idk.  My face is pretty good now so I am not too concerned.  It is mainly my chest and back that have some, though not terrible it is definitely there.

Well plus antibacterial hand soap kills the main cause of zits...bacteria. It really removes oil and kills bacteria so it's a great one-two punch. :P

so anti bac soap or Accutane?
