Pros- free online, blu-ray, built in wireless, reliable, easy upgrading of hdd, compatible with a variety of bluetooth tech (keyboards, headsets, etc..), 08 line up is looking good, remote play if have psp, stream videos/music/pics from home pc, upscales PS2 games (if PS2 bc) and dvds, home is coming.

Cons- intitial ports not the greatest, online store could use more offerings, DS3 isn't out yet.

From what I have seen (don't own a PS3...yet) that all sounds about right.

I dont think the ps3 overheats at all since it has a built in fan that pretty much keeps it cool or at least thats what I think. ( :filiwian

That's what the 360 owners thought (this one included)

Look at the disk specs:

Wii: DVD 4,7GB

Xbox 360: HD DVD 15 GB single layer, 30Gb double layer

Playstation 3: Bluray 25 Gb single layer, 50GB double layer.

I only have one thing to say, LOL :P

Anyway MGS is always awesome, this will just be patheticly outstanding for other games out there

Just to let you know, 360 games aren't played with HD DVD disks...

I would if it were the right mix of games and movies. I hate it when they bundle stuff you already own...

How low/high did you get it compared to the B&M retail price? Which PS3 did you get?
