Your problem along with a lot of other people is you think nintendo is competing with other companies. Nintendo used the snes to compete against the sega gen and the play station they used the N64 against the Playstation as well. They used the gamecube to compete against the dreamcast and the ps2 and the xbox. but with the wii nintendo simply attack an audience that they feel no one else is attacking and because they feel no one else is attacking that audience they feel no need to compete with the other systems. no need to release a halo killer or a gears killer or a God of war killer. They are fighting against no1 which is why the Wii is selling so well for the audience they want there is no choice there is only the wii webbut

why are you making it sound so complecated, theres games that are fun to play and theres games that arnt. SIMPLE. when you pick up a conroller to play a game all what matters is how much enjoyment you get from the game, that is wat sholud determine if a console is "good" or not. it just happens that other consoles on the market have a larger catalogue of enjoyable games

lets be honest if the wii didnt have brawl or mario kart it would pretty much not be worth gettin (to an extent) this is the way i see the top games (wii exclusives)

thts it really doesn't look to good if you ask me, no where near competing with any console past or present even with the wiimote considered, but i do love kart and brawl (the Wii saviours)

DONT MENTION THE GAMECUBE PORTS THTS JUST IMBARISING THEY WERE MADE FOR THE GAMECUBE NOT THE Wii THEREFORE I WILL NOT ECEPT THOSE GAMES AS AN EXCUSE FOR THE Wii HAVING MORE "TOP" TITLES

i also used to play NHL hitz tht was awesome, i dnt kno if any of the recent NHL series is as fun and acesable (reveiws anyone) i think they should make a mario hockey now tht would be sick.

i also forgot to mention unreal championship 2 (NOT TOURNAMENT) this game is truely a multiplayer classic. with such high reviews WHY HAVENT THEY CONTINUED THE SERIES. DA MN fools.

micro machines type games are also hella fun with 4 players

hi ppl, my ever lasting quest has been tryin to find good offline multiplayer games that you can play up to 4 players (split screen), with online beenin so popular these days offline multiplayer is dying :cry:. i only play games with friends so i need recomendations, ive got ALOT of consoles and so any platform will do, games from back in the day to new titles. no stupid wii party games = laaaaaaaame. som of my favs;
