Probably because they are the "father of video games" or whatever they call them, personally I havent had a single Nintendo console I liked. I got the DS early and was bored to death, my Wii experience... I refuse to speak of.
[QUOTE="black_chewbacca"]Is it just me or is the lack of content in this topic shocking? I mean, I thought the guy would atleast explain why he thought that.Danm_999
It's called fanboyism :P
Yea but this is to such a degree it doesnt even fall into that category.
Does anyone know what they are going for (in store credit wise) at EB Games or Gamestop? I have one and 15 really good games I am considering selling to put towards a new system. I am not totally sure if it's worth selling, but if I could get around $100 for it I probably would sell it. JDW_games
Doesnt matter if there "really good" they dont care, youll get like $7 a game if your really lucky, the console probably $50. Your better off selling it on Ebay as a bundle.
Can be expensive if you don't know what your doing.
Overwhelming games library, hard to keep up with playing the constant flow of titles.
Takes up a lot of room.

Noisy, risk of breaking and freezing.
XBL costs $50/year, seems an unjustified cost.
Most good games make their way to PC in superior versions/ports.
Danm_999
Wait, did you say that XBL is not worth the cost? Thats the first I heard of that, its worth every penny for the majority of people, its cheap considering that its the most superior community/ service available.
And no, not a single 360 game has gone to the pc and scored higher, in fact most games that go to the pc are alot worse, research next time. Well firstly, I don't see why XBL requires a cost, but PC online is free (except for MMORPGs, which cost more on consoles anyway), I see it more as a method of Microsoft re-acquiring costs than genuinely needing it. As for your second point, your mistaken. I never mentioned anything about scores (I assume we are speaking of GameSpot here). Of course a console version will score higher than a PC version, since it has to do less in the realms of online, system requirement optimisation, visuals etc to be considered a success. The only way the PC version will score higher is if there is something glaringly wrong with the console version. Scores at GameSpot are only a consumer advisory guide, reflecting a title's relative strength in it's genre, ON IT'S SYSTEM. Titles are not meant by score to be compared to every game on every system, that's just stupid. An example is Oblivion. Despite scoring more poorly (mainly in Tilt) the game is superior on PC; it has better visuals, load times and of course, user created content and the TES Construction Set.
TES contruction set it suppose to be really powerfull, I used it for morrowind, but damn, its really dificult.

Naw, just that you said that they go on the pc and are "superior." Because every 360 to pc port loses a majority of its quality in the translation. In fact not a single reviewer on any website reviewed a pc game higher than a 360.
