@darthrevenx: Sounds like someone's feeling got hurt or something. This E3 better be good. Nintendo having their Direct Event offsite somewhere like fools. After the Switch reveal, I don't blame them. Their conferences have gone way down hill since I last attended.
Someone at Nintendo has big dreams. Companies always think they are going to sell 100 million units. The reason the Wii sold so many was because a lot of elderly, female and casual none gamers bought Wii. I don't think the same demographic consumer are going to jump on the Switch. It will obviously sell better then the Wii U, but I doubt it will reach anywhere close to 100 million.
Microsoft just needs to bring the games. Lots of new IP's and some XB1/Scorpio exclusives that won't be on PC. They should have kept all their big franchises on the XBox One. The PC doesn't need Forza, Gears or Halo. The PC needs Age of Empire and Flight Simulator 10. If Microsoft does another Perfect Dark, Kameo 2, Links, MechAssault and Blinx it should be XB1/Scorpio exclusive.
Well the Switch launched in March, so it should easily be able to win the month. I move curious to see how many units are sold in July and Aug. With all of the shortage the Switch has had, we'll have to wait and see if it can win April as well.
Is this a trick question or what? That's like asking if the Sun is hotter then the Moon.
Of course the Scorpio is more powerful. Microsoft said that the Scorpio Dev Kit that ran Forza 6 was only 80% as powerful as the retail version Scorpio. So the actual Scorpio hardware that launched to consumers will be more powerful then what DF was looking at. They may have to rerun their tests again after the system launches.
