Red Dead Redemption is still one of my favorites of all time! I owned it on the PS3 and then bought on the Xbox 360 digital when it was on sale and now I play it on the Xbox One. They created such a great open world western.... and I dont even like westerns...
@Pokemon18986: Doesnt have HDR, thats why. There are some 4k TVs that are around $500 WITH HDR10. This deal is not worth it because I have the Xbox One S and a 4K tv with HDR and it would be a good deal if I had neither. The upscaled 4k is nice but seeing movies and games with HDR on is phenomenal. Forza Horizon 3 is pretty stunning in upscaled 4k HDR.
@Leefx: I am a huge Xbox fan and I only buy Ps consoles now for their exclusives and I was blown away by the psvr. These kind of things are the reason to not be a fan boy and just love games and buy all the systems. I was waiting to buy any games until I played vr world's a bit to make sure I wasn't one of the "lucky" ones who get motion sick but it was simply awesome. My experience with VR was limited to Disney Quest in Orlando and that was awful. This is more than I expected and I am loving it. Not sure I will pay 60 for these VR "experiences" that we have now. Once they start making full VR games I will consider it.
@akassassin11: So NOW power doesnt matter? Bet it mattered to you when it was Xb1 vs PS4... I owned both, couldnt tell the difference. I thought it was funny how some games ran better on the "lesser" machine. Honestly I'd have preferred to stick with the One and PS4 and maybe they should have released some games that are "next gen". We got 2 to 3 years of remasters and reboots and sequels. I will be buying the Scorpio as my next console. I dont feel the PS4 pro does enough more to warrant its purchase. Especially considering I had just replaced my day one xbox one with a Xbox one slim. Cheapest 4k bluray player around AND plays all my One games upscaled to 4K and BC 360 games? Paid half of what I paid for the Xbox One. SOLD! Once they start releasing HDR games and patches for the Slim... even better!
@Terrorantula: So then why wasnt 900p upscaled to 1080p ok? NOW upscaling is ok? SMH.... I think its funny how when the tables turn the fanboys will clamor and say the same things the other fanboy were saying.... Sony dropped the ball.. it's ok to say. I own a PS4 and an Xbox One. Sony dropped the ball. I own the best 4k bluray player/gaming console available... it upscales to 4k with HDR... still wont look as sharp as native 4k with HDR. I WILL be buying the Scorpio and then whatever Sony comes up with 2 years after that... With the Xbox One S I have what I need to fill the game until Scorpio. PS4 Pro is too little of a gap to warrant purchase right now.
@Thanatos2k: Not always.. what if you waited a week to play and then found out someone hacked/modded the universe so everything was "found" by one user and he/she named them all "Thanatos2ksucks"... would that make it better. I hate the rampant cheating and game breaking hacks that run through the PC community...
