@Landsharkk Wish I could double like this!! I was getting a One and PS4 regardless... and I was disappointed with the game sharing going away. MS didnt implement the "drm" and "24 hour check" for NO reason. Without them we lost the ability to share disc games across Xbox Live and Loaning or giving away games across live. No one took the time to really understand the "why" for the restriction. They all just instantly assumed it was MS trying to "CONTROL" our gaming.
Either way I am still getting both... can't wait til Nov. All I want now is an actual release date so i can put in for a few days off early..
@Mendax2013 Link to this please? Article? Reputable source? Both were sold out at my local gamestop. Are you saying only the gamestop near my house sold out?
@TenraiSenshi This started in the Genesis-SNES era. Thats was the first time TWO consoles were really in any competition with each other. When I was playing Genesis and saw the SNES games I just went and got an SNES... It all comes down to games. People of a certain age feel they have to justify their purchases to their "peers" by slamming the other console to get likes... They need to confirm they were right in their or parents money that was spent. There will never be a connection to each other by games anymore. It's all about brand. Your kid will get bullied no less for having an Xbox or PS3 than wearing Kmart shoes. Society in general is just messed up. Too much privilege and pampering these days and no one is teaching how to respect someone else for their choices. Kids get a trophy just for showing up to a sport... it's crazy.
You'd be surprised at the age of some of the people flaming away.
@canuckbiker I have two Xbox 360s, one launch 360 and a slim, and I have had no problems with either. I also have a PS3 and my account info and credit card data could have been taken, so dont purport to tell me who I can or cannot praise!! If you had reading comprehension skills you would have realized my comment was in response to an overreaction of a 20 minute outage on xbox live which hardly anyone noticed. Kind of like you assumed I was PRAISING MS when in reality I was correcting the OP on his statement about a 20 minute outage being "a business exposing themselves.", when in reality a 2 month stoppage of service and possible data leaking was not comparable. Hence the initial phrase in my response (Could have been worse...) First read a comment, then comprehend that comment, then try to post a more well thought out comment. Thank you and good night...
@DarkReign2552 "Why do I get the feeling that back in 2006 you were the same person making claims that although the PS3 was $200 more than Xbox 360, it was worth it because you were paying for a superior experience."
--- It's not so much a feeling as it is ....actually...the....same....people...
