We just played great games on whatever system whichever friend had. I didnt care if it was the NES or Sega Master System, SNES or Genesis. N64 or Dreamcast. I have owned them all because i can't pass up great games. I told myself I was only gonna buy one system last gen, the 360. Then I saw Uncharted and I certainly wasnt disappointed.. It makes my decision easier for purchasing a console because I know I will own both. It will just be the Xbox One first and the PS4 later..

Seriously though it is good to see this tech actually being worked on for home use. If this tech can get to where I hope I forsee holodecks for my grandchildren at least, lol. I hate to do this, I really do...but back in the day I didnt argue if Atari was better then Oddysee then NES was better than Sega Master System. You would be ridiculed just for admitting you played "video games". We should all be happy that since the days of SNES and Genesis that we've had TWO great systems to play on. No one system is clearly better than the other. Both will have great games. Both will sell in the millions. People will be happy with their purchase. People will be unhappy. A lot of people will own both. None of us will "lose". And we will begin the cycle again in another 8 to 10 years....

There are alot of unsold WII U's out there and all the Nintendo people will have to go SOMEWHERE, lol. So in all honesty you really cant go wrong with either system for playing great games.

@Kryptonbornson @blackbeltjones Just checked it out... so my fears of never seeing virtual reality in my life may be unfounded... Personally I'd hoped for a holodeck but I can suffice with VR, lol. I never understood why it cannot become a "reality" for consumers to have this stuff by now... Computer graphics and power have come a long way since the fabled Sega Genesis VR got me interested

If there are more things you dont like about one console than the other, then your decision is made for you. The PS4 is going to be a great system as is the Xbox One. In my opinion, I feel the Xbox One leaves more room to be innovative as it's not just a gaming console

@TechGoblin @udmatador Wow TechGoblin!!! I wish Gamespot had an APPLAUDE button.. My thoughts exactly except put more succinctly. Everyone is all of a sudden worried about innovation? They just want a game system that plays games, fine. I want a system that is going to grow as new developments happen and as I see it the Xbox One is that system...

Could you imagine the shitstorm if they were to actively watch you... Thats what makes me certain it wouldnt happen. MS is a multi billion dollar company. I dont think they would risk that just to watch gamers play games and watch tv... there is nothing to gain for them and ALOT to lose. I think everyone is over reacting to the camera being there.
