so now you're resorting to putting words in our mouth.

no one of us said that, NO ONE.

i think CoD has proven that the industry doesn't have to change.

you're back to the ''males are bad'' point, BUT YOU STILL HAVE NO EVIDENCE. i'm sorry for using caps, but you keep claiming and claiming and not backing anything up.

because games like mirror's edge were such a financial success? if you want to prove your point, give me examples of games centered around choices that matter that sold great.

how can you prove it was word of mouth?

no, they're making money due to rave reviews and a steady fanbase. if you want to prove otherwise, where's the evidence.

yes, CoD has indeed been selling less with each iteration...

that would mean having either:

1. boring cutscenes having no gender specific traits or jokes to ensure they can be used for both, which would make them clinical and unnatural.

2. seperate cutscenes and dialogue, which would eat up disc space.

why would devs take risks? it's an INDUSTRY. and an INDUSTRY IS OUT TO MAKE MONEY. jesus christ, i've said this 5 times, why won't you get it?

will you listen for one second:

devs want to make money, choice does not make them more money, so they don't care. it's not a difficult concept.

you seem to shut yourself in like a fundamentalist.

i called out your double standard and you just ignore it and move on. we break or counter every single one of your arguments and instead of accepting logic, you make up more as you go.

so it's bad for women to be forced to play a male, but not for women to be forced to play a lesbian? that's a double standard if i've ever seen one.

i knew you'd reply like this.

this isn't a bunch of men being sexist to women, it's a bunch of rational individuals debunking your unbased statements.

well it's not the industry's job to pander to your preferences, it's the industry's job to make money.

you don't realize that the experience would be changed.

for example, if in uncharted you got the change to play as a woman, it'd be weird to have her make all the advances at elena and talk like a man with sully.

tomb raider is not a game allowing choice either, they've had lara as their protagonist forever so they're not going to change that. it would make no sense since the game is a prequel.
