I've tried some of that sorta thing, a Romance of the Three Kingdoms roleplay forum years ago to be exact.  The rules were highly complex, but really I just felt kinda foolish and silly participating so was mainly driven out by shame.

Otherwise, Harden007's multiple attempt at starting that sorta thing have flopped due to lack of interest or participation.

So I would say, not really.

It's just that I saw some union about dynasty warriors and it looked pretty weird.
