He has a PCCHIP P29G he wants a cheap GPU nothing fancy, something cheap betwenn 10- 120 dollars to run CS something like that what u suggestAlejo17
you're sure he doesn't want to pay UNDER $10? so even if i said the $9.50 card was better than this $12.99 one, you wouldn't go for it?
:D
you will probably need to give yourself access to the files on the first drive before you can see what's on it, but yeah. i had a locked up version of vista and installed XP, took ownership, and drug my entire User section to a seperate partition, along with some other stuff, and then just formatted the original.
for the record, having all my documents on a seperate partition entirely has proved to come in very handy when formatting.
[QUOTE="Gog"]Take out the sound card and plug it back into the slot.blazethe1
i was gonna say that
...reinstall the drivers for the sound card...hacker_xyzzy
maybe this too.
did you do it? ^^^
[QUOTE="blazethe1"]LMAO. That's funny! It figures that Nvidia would only let it detect their hardware. Do you think they puposefully made it so that even if it detected a radeon card it would just label it as integrated graphics? lolAnyone try it? i got the Nvidia email thing and did it.
basicly the a guy from crysis talks to you (not a developer, a character FROM the game) and then scans your system, shows you what you have (GPU and CPU speeds) and supposedly, tells you if you can run it.
it showed me my radeon 3870 and Athlon 64 X2 2.2Ghz and told me i had integrated hardware and should upgrade.
btw, i can run the demo on all high and very playable. havn't checked frame rates though.

idk, i guess they DID lol.
on a side note. it looks like we're all currently lvl 2 journeymen.

Microsoft-
"We will pave the way with our 'Next Generation' platform sporting a tri-core CPU each running at 3.2ghz and a 500mhz GPU that will deliver exactly what you're looking for: POWER"
Sony-
"Our Playstation 3, though over a year late compared to the 360, will rival power and make the 360 look like the dreamcast! When you want power and performance, the PS3 has it all!"
Nintendo-
"Look what I made! We call it the Wii. It's FUN."
I'm not bashing the Wii, it's downright amazing that it's been sold out for a solid YEAR. but that is all the more reason to say "WTF NINTENDO!? Great Job"
wow thats a low budget a good card will cost you at least 160
but do you have an agp slot or a pci express 16 slot
sabbath2gamer
but he doesn't want a "good" card does he now?
