Shadow of Mordor is now 40% off instead of 37% off. Deciding to get it or not.
Been trying to tell myself I still have a huge backlog of games and by the time I play some of them the next sale will be cheaper.
It's not that bad of a discount but not the greatest either. I got my copy for 20$ from amazon. Have you it was a physical copy. (They sold the digital for 20$ 2 days after.)
TL;DR: OP you want the exclusives that might come out and may not flop or do you want better graphics for games that are already out or bound to come out.

But yes the 8 core is perfect as it is. (I currently have a amd 6 core.)
If you wanted to go Intel you would get a boost. But not enough to warrant a purchase of a completely new CPU. All you really need is a new gpu if you want to future proof it for years.
@thelordofpies: I would suggest the 970 as it does outperform the 290x, only a 30$ difference in price as well. Sometimes you just have to stop being team red and join team green heh.
But if you decide to go 290x you should be fine with those specs. (Post on PC discussions if you want more in-depth help and suggestions. Cuz I only know two of the things you have heh.)
@thelordofpies: Oh. That's near the same specs I have. You should be fine to upgrade to a 970 with those specs. (Just make sure you have space in your tower and the PSU supports the 970.)
