No, no, no, no... We were debating a specific point, me and many others have a narrative perspective, you and some other people have a different perspective. The devs, even before "left behind" being released, confirmed our perception of the story that they developed.They only confirmed we were right, and you and your fellows were wrong. There is little debate after this point. You can even believe that Joel is an alien if that fits your interpretation of their art, but it doesn't means you are right... LOL

That's your fault. The way you express your opinion is way more focused on their relationship and not in the fact that Bill is death. My advice, just complain about Ellie not meeting Bill, not about Bill and Frank story. It will help your case, and you would not sound too homophobic...

Fine. But I disagree on this point deeply. The deviation from cannon is minimal. It still leads the main characters to the same point they are in the game, the story of Bill and Fank is way more in tune with Joel and Ellie story (Joel grows way more as a character), you still have a letter (this time way more important), but ultimately and this is the only biggest difference (besides Bill and Frank deaths), you have hope, not despair.

See... that's the greatest difference between us. In their sex scene I pushed a bit forward (I´m using a pc) because that scene was a bit strong for me. But I see it as a respectful way of showing love towards people with that sex orientation. Did I enjoy it? Not very much. Did it bothered me? No, its just that, a moment in their love story...
I have to agree with Vin here... both are fantasy worlds filled with imaginary situations and beautiful landscapes. The only difference is that Lord Of The Rings is a bit soft in the fantasy part in comparison with F&F...
