@wingedbeast: "you're in the minority."

I wouldn't bet on that. The majority of people don't care about, thats a fact. Then you have the politic excuse and the people really who are really offended by her words...

She loses the first round because people offended are more active than the people who supports her. And then, when you guys made this situation about politics and she loses again. No one with a sense of moral can accept the concept of people with Nazi ornamentations (Yes, they are on Gina´s side of the barricade) call themselves Jews...

@bloodbornelore:

1) Sorry, but I'm not a US citizen so I don't have your trauma about politics. Disney action makes sense from a logical point of view. Gina clearly likes to say stupid things and clearly was not going to stop. Why the risk of working with someone so toxic?

2) I told you before, I`m not scare about people who make mistakes, only about the ones who are proud about it... And yes, maybe comedian is a word a bit extreme, but considering James work I thought it was obvious what I was implying.

3) "You’re the one thinking she did something wrong." See, that's your biggest mistake. You may think that what she said is ok and I may think otherwise. But the most important part in the equation thought it was bad, and they didn't renew her contract. Also, there is a difference between the US and the rest of the world, and Disney clients are from all the world not just the US.

@wingedbeast: Of course not... Only very bad people who have the same dangerous ideas. But they are like a clown version of those demons. Still, they are on Gina´s side... Like it or not...

@bloodbornelore: That depends... Because I know that in your example the one joking about "raping kids", appollogise himself for the stupid things he said, and he never do that again... On the other side Gina is proud about the stupid things she says...

Oh damn... I gave context to the things in debate... you guys dont like that...

@spaceweasel: The main thing we must remember is the thing they did and what they represent to humanity... the worst thing imaginable. Now, I don't care about the party, the ideas or the colour, all a care about is that anyone using Nazi ornamentation is a dangerous stupid moron.

And so far, I only saw this guys in the extreme right. You may know them, in the US they are Trump most feverous supporters. So... they belong (In Gina´s words) to the side that are being presented as Jews. Really?

@bloodbornelore: "People are so triggered by politics and cancel culture that it was probably all set up."

Yes... They made gina wrote stupid things... You guys are amazing...

"they’ve lost a lot of respect for firing her based on political views and opinions"

Maybe in the US... and by a small amount of people. Most people can easily understand Disney reaction. Because it was a reaction, not an action...

"I just can’t believe Gunn is let of for literally saying on a few occasions about raping kids."

Yes... James wrote very, very stupid things... but there's a difference, and the difference is that he acknowledged his mistake, he explained why he wrote what he wrote and why he will never do that again. The problem with comedians is that most of the time they go way to far away to be edgy and provocatour. As far as I remember Gina is not a comedian, and she never showed remorse or understanding about the things she wrote.

I will always forgive someone who says "I´m sorry, I was young and stupid, but now I developed as a person", but I will never forgive people who says stupid things in a proud way, because that kind of people is dangerous.

@xgalacticax: "She shouldn't want to work for Nazis..."

It's scary how easily this word is used... if I recall correctly, the people with Nazi ornamentation are not on Disney side...

@bloodbornelore: "Gunn made far worse comments than Gina by a long stretch."

Maybe... But it was a long time ago, when he was young, he apologize for it and never did that again...

Gina, on the other hand will keep doing it. Hey, it is her right, yet, Disney also has the right to put her as far away as possible from them..

"Gina was no where near as bad."

Sorry, but Gina wrote a lot of stupid things. The last tweet is just the final straw to Disney. Who knows what would come next...

You should never compare nothing to the Holocaust, because doing so is just plain stupid. But more important, you should never see yourself as the Jews, when the people with Nazi ornamentations are on your side of the fence... That makes things even worse...

Everyone can say something stupid, especially in those kind of moments. A clap on the back of the head, a warning, and moving on...

Only the perpetuation of the stupidity is the problem. He recognize his mistake, and that should be praised, not punished.
