I don't do kickstarters nor I have played any of the shenmue games. But there is a dedicated fanbase that really wants this game. Honestly though, I personally would feel safer doing a kick starter knowing Sony was planning to also back the game. It's one of those things where I don't think it's a bad thing as it is a niche game and isn't going to sell 10 million copies. But I'm happy it was a success and the Shenmue fans will finally get their third game.

Since this is a reality, I might try and play the first 2 but they are pretty pricey on ebay and I don't own a dreamcast to play the first one. Sony should use some of that money and port the first 2 games to PS4 or PC for an HD collection (I know it would be another HD collection, but considering I have never played these games and most likely many others haven't but are interested in why some are so into the series). Or if Microsoft wants to jump in and help they could produce an HD collection while Sony helpes with the third game and deal could be that it's a collective project and gets shared between PS4, PC and X1.

But yeah, that will never happen lol I would be smart though since this seems more of a niche series, help bring some us who never played it and get us interested for the next one. Selling on 3 platforms would equal more money.

Like others did you purchase on Steam or GOG or Retail.

Second, what are your specs.

Third did you try to install any mods. Alot of the lighting FX mods don't play well with FRAPS and will crash upon starting the game. I found this out after getting the EDFX mod and it's not compatible with Fraps.

I also found I had to go into the GOG files and manually download the pre-release game and then download the mods since I got my copy retail and then enabled the GOG code to download. (I have the gamers club at bestbuy, so it worked out cheaper to buy the physical release at the time). Then I had to manually download the 1.2 patch.

But other from those the game has run pretty well.

I'm so overloaded with games it's scary and would take way too long to list the games in my Steam library and my shelves of PS2,PS3,PS4,XB1,XB360,Xone,GC,Wii,Wii-U,3DS,Vita games. I could literally stop buying games for 2 years and probably still not make it through my backlog.

Also to add, I recently purchased the Darksiders Pack, Kingdoms of Amular, Tomb Raider on the Steam Sale. I'm trying to hold myself back as I now see the Farcry series on there (i have never played any of them and many people say I should) but I have so many games to play I just feel I shouldn't get them right now.

My main problem is I buy the current games to play, but then see a past game I never got a chance with and buy them when I see a sale or deal. I remember tracking down Xenosaga III years ago used knowing I wanted to play it and I have yet to actually play it. To make things even worse, I bought F.E.A.R. near release on physical and never beat it due to always forgetting to back up my save, then got the digital version with 2 and 3 on a steam sale and still haven't beaten it. This was edited and I felt I should further explain how long it is taking me to beat F.E.A.R. Then I start playing it again and bam, Bloodborne and Witcher 3 release and I dropped it again.

Why would any body in their rite mind be buying these? DX12 is literally months away, and the next generation not iteration of cards is about to drop by the end of the year for at least amd and at the latest spring for nvidia. Expensive fucking card to be buying, when such a large leap in performance and efficiency is literally months away.

Pascal won't happen until sometime 2016. AMD still hasn't released the Fury cards and are the actual New Gen from AMD. AMD is not gonna drop a newer GPU soon with the Fury cards releasing halfway through this year and Nvidia has already announced it won't be until 2016 until we start seeing Pascal cards. If your wanting to upgrade right now the 980 Ti or waiting a few weeks for the Fury X is the way to go. No one wants to wait 1 year or more for the next generation if they are wanting to upgrade now as they probably want to play the big hit games right now maxed out.

Believe what you want to believe, but no card is going to release months away that will demolish the 980 ti or Fury series.

I'm buying three. Need a store link to buy them!!!

Don't!

Wait for the non-reference models.

These cards with non-reference coolers will be beasts!

They have plenty of room for OC:

Just to be honest and this is how I have my current rig setup. Sometimes reference cards are better for SLI setups as they blow the air out the back. I have SLI GTX 980 reference from Nvidia (you can get Nvidia brand from Best Buy). I personally would not go any other route than reference if your going to do SLI. This keeps the cards cooler (I also have a Corsiar 540 air which intakes fresh air and delivers it directly to my GPU's). If Cosseniath wants to 3 way SLI, then I would definitely do reference as they are gonna be sandwiched right up against each other.

Non reference are better if your going a single card route, but I have found with SLI reference cards tend to work better.

But now to be on topic, that's awesome to have Batman early. I'm currently still trying to play Witcher 3 and I bought a few games recently on steam sales (gotta play Darksiders II and Kingdoms of Amular now). Pre-ordered Batman AK on Green man gaming just the other day for 36 bucks. Man, I have jam packed summer of games to play. I remember back in high school going through Summer Droughts and replaying games. I remember one summer I busted out my PS2 after finding a Tales of the Abyss at a store and then decided it was finally time to master and beat Ninja Gaiden on the xbox, but I don't think I will ever have to worry about that again.

I seen the Nvidia video for Batman and the rain alone looks sooo good. I just want to fly around as batman and watch the rain hit his cape. Let alone all the other options. I might even pick up the season pass to play as Batgirl if I end up liking the game enough. Hopefully they are careful though, I personally would probably play it offline just in case to not gather attention from Sony or WB.

HHH is more famous. Everyone knows who he is. He has been on TV every week for over 15 years straight with millions of viewers tuning in. He is one of the main characters and future owner of the billion dollar company.

WWE has over 500 Million social media followers. 1/14 people in the world know who HHH is because every fan of WWE sees him.

What has motorhead done? They are a one hit wonder that has the same song in every video game. "Ace of spades" is their only hit and it gets overused a million times in guitar hero and Tony Hawk.

Go out and ask anyone in the real world if they know who motorhead is. Ask a woman and they will draw a blank. Ask anyone who HHH is and they will at least have heard of him and say something like "he's that wrestler guy right?"

WWE at its peak popularity was apart of 90's pop culture. Everyone knows who stone cold, the rock, HHH, Undertaker etc are.

Motorhead has NEVER been famous in pop culture.

Bullshit... Most people I know, including myself don't like "fake" Wrestling... See what i did there. I can make blanket generalizations too.

But a rock group who was famous in the 70's -80's and had cameos in a number of films, plus has their music as the back drop of a number of properties is famous.... well more famous than a steroid injected trailer park trash idol.

Wrestling is fake on tv... and it stopped being good after the 80s (back when it was actually amusing) imo.

i would say it was still good until late 90's . But yeah i do agree about "wrestling" i stopped watching along time ago

Plus is not as big as some people think outside USA

I'm from the USA and have no idea who HHH is. At first during these arguments I thought he was some rapper but then googled him. Your crazy if you think he is more popular than MotorHead. MotorHead is one of the top bands from the 80's, most people who know Ozzy, Guns and Roses, Metallica, Pantera, MegaDeth, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and such know who Motorhead is, while I will admit they are not as big as most those bands I mentioned, but they are referenced quite a bit and made it mainstream like those others and with todays music streaming like Spotify, Pandora, itunes streaming. You cant input any of those names without hearing a Motorhead song in the mix. They are not an underground Metal Group. Even in a bunch of Ozzy interviews and such Lemmy is either there or mentioned. Everyone has their "signature song" Ozzy is Crazy Train even though he has ton's of other hits, G'N'R is Welcome to the Jungle or Sweet Child O' Mine, Metallica is well known for One. All of them have tons of other songs that are great. Ace of Spades is just Motorheads mainstream song, they have many others too.

The fact is that most people who listen to any of the classic Metal groups will more than likely know who Motorhead is and I'm pretty sure that would be more than a wrestler (also just to mention the older Metal groups like these guys can also be known as hard rock. The Metal these guys produced isn't like the harder Metal of Today) There are ton's of people who aren't into sports of any kind, but to find someone who doesn't like music at all, well they are a rare breed. Just based on that alone I would be willing to bet on more people knowing who Motorhead is or at least who Lemmy is.

And like some of the other posters said, it seems this triple H is associated with a Motorhead song...

The DX Racer Max chairs are pretty nice. I was having lots of back problems with my Staples Cushing chair (it was like a soft recliner without the recliner) and so far after using this for about 2 months my back is starting to feel better and I sit in this chair 8+ hours a day. If you get the ones with the dual adjustable mechanism you can individually tilt and lock the seat, back and then lock the overall tilt of the chair. Banacules Nerdgasm on youtube has a review of it too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z8BZIVRt1Qs They are a little pricey but since my back has been better supported it was actually worth it. I would suggest at least taking a look at it.

Uncharted was a forward movement of Tomb Raider, TR 2013 took what UC advanced over the original TR's and advanced it. Now we see the 2 juggernauts going after each other. This is why competition is good. Personally I think that both a great and I loved the UC series as well as the 2013 Tomb Raider. I only wish that TR Rises wasn't a MS exclusive until who knows when, but I will get it as I own the X1 (sometimes I wonder why, but Forza, Halo and getting to play TR:R reminds me why), but I'll probably trade it in and get the PS4 or PC version of it when they become available.

A 970 SLI will still be better than a 980ti on games that support SLI. It's never worth it to upgrade within the same family of GPU's. While I get it, it's disappointing to purchase a recent high end GPU only to have it outclassed within a few months, overall unless you are within the return period of where you bough them and have the extra cash it's not worth it. I have a GTX 980 SLI setup and I'm able to get 60 fps and 1440p in all games so far (some games like the W3 I knocked down a setting like Foliage View Distance in order to get a perfect 60fps experience. Thats with Vsync on, if I disable it i'm soaring up into the 70-90 range.

Overall, those of use who have 970's and 980's should not care about the Titan X and 980ti, if you only have 1 then it's cheaper to add a second, and if you already have a second your getting better performance in most games. It's never wise to upgrade in the same family of GPU, wait until Pascal or the next one as your 970 sli will carry on the job for the time being. If you have the extra 600 bucks to go to a 980ti setup, plus the loss on your current 970s, just save that until the next generation.

I personally will most likely skip the first gen of Pascel with my 2 x GTX 980's and wait for the second gen whatever it ends up being called. I feel that it's best to wait at least 1 gen in between upgrades.
