I loved the first game it was the reason i bought my 3ds, picking up this and ratchet and clank today. Not going to have enough to play both and dark souls 3. And im still interested in quantum break anyone have any thoughts on it, all i know is its a damn good looking game.
@mkeezay22: and that bad thermal throttling mac's have especially the 5k man my friend has one its cool for movies or surfing the web but soon as he played the witcher 3 and gta 5 it hit 102C in 5-10min and started clocking down thats crazy. Its form over function with them just to small and not enough cooling. And way to overpriced just go and build one and look at the costs of ram or hd options its stupid. I think it has a m295x in it. Not sure if they have the newer 300 series in them yet.
While ive loved all the souls games i do think they get over rated sometimes. Especially because of technical problems they all have $hitty framerate and frame pacing problems( bloodborne's frame pacing never got fixed). I fill bad for people playing it on ps4 and one from what ive read so far it gets really bad going low 20s maybe teens with its framerate. Im glad some people are giving it 7's or 8s it doesnt deseve a 9.5 im talking to you ign if its a technical mess. Come on its 2016 is a locked 30 to much to ask for with consoles. Im getting it for pc while my systems no power house im hoping my 3770k and classified 780 runs it good at 1080p. Im gonna get a new gpu soon as 14&16nm cards come out.
But what does make me mad at nvidia is good support for aging cards. The card i upgraded from with the vapor-x 7970Ghz to the classified 780 and guess what it runs it exactly the same or maybe a couple of fps more than a stock 780 in the division. Just makes me mad look what happened to the 680 the 7970ghz is way ahead of it in every game and the 770 which is a 680 with some tweaks And a 380 shouldnt be outperforming a gtx 780 either. And seems like amd is really kicking @ss lately with the new price performance champ the r390, it used to be the 970 but not anymore. It just makes me mad because amd cards seem to age more gracefully than nvidia. The 780 had a 15-20fps lead in most games on the 7970ghz when it came out now its struggling to keep with it.
I waited about 3 days before buying it trying to wait on a review but i just went to walmart one night at 12:30 and got a physical pc copy. And im glad i did just wish i had one friend with a decent pc, they all have ps4's or one's. And man does it take some chops to run this game. While i dont have the newest rig anymore i think its up to the task in most games at 1080p, it a 3770K 4.5, 16gb ram, and a 780 classified. I just used the presets from nvidia this time just to see how it would run and its normally 40-65fps which is fine because a 980ti can't hold 60 on 1080p maxed. Im really surprised the consoles run it as good as they do.
Well its in my top 5 games of last year and if you have a one you should buy it. I fill like it didnt get the love it deseved because fallout 4 releasing on the same day. I think rise of tomb raider got better ratings than fallout and is probably one of the best looking games of last year. And legend of heroes trails in the sky cold steel went under the radar for most people and was one of the best jrpg's last year, it reminded me of persona 4 in a lot of ways. Last i checked ign or gamespot hadnt even reviewed it yet. I picked up the vita version and im loving the game, might pick up the ps3 version down the road to add to my collection.
5: Rise of Tomb Raider or Legend of Heroes Trails in the Sky Cold Steel both are not getting enough love (great rpg if you like games like persona 3&4
I wouldve put Bloodborne but the frame pacing problem made me really start to get pissed especially since i played dark souls 2 on pc butter smooth going back and playing bloodborne it felt like a stuttering mess either they cant fix it and its gonna be the same for DS3 and it's apart of the new game engine which would suck or the devs are lazy and didnt try or gave up. Destiny had a similiar problem and they fixed it.
