@ultramega9 No one is arguing 'online' games, obviously WoW wouldn't work offline, but if a game has any single player game to speak of, taking the choice away from players is wrong. The problem will become all games will have "feature sets" built in, supposedly that only work online, they will justify every single player release as an always online.
I love how they say "ready for", like it's this grand thing that us simpleton gamers can't grasp...ugh. It's not about being ready, it's about whether or not it's necessary, and judging by the comments, it's not wanted either.
@xolivierx @bluefox755 The dirty secret is, it's not about US players, it's about giving them the ability to track our gaming habits, open the door for 24/7 advertisements, monitor our likes/dislikes so they can better tailor an 'advertising'' experience. That's why they want it, but how does it benefit us? That's the one question I have yet to hear the proponents answers, not a single answer.
We might be ready for it if ONE PERSON can state a single !@#$ing advantage to "always online" as opposed to giving the player the OPTION...lol, so frustrating.
Welp, he's up there with people like Morsi, Assad, Psy, and Obama. This list is beyond laughable, I'm struggling to find even a few on this list who have done anything meaningful.
