Games are violent...thats OKAY!! Adults can decide what they want to see, and parents are responsible for what their kids see, so what's the problem? I don't understand the complaint, does he want government to come in and take control, because he thinks we are too stupid to make responsible decisions??
Yeah, I suppose if you're playing a dating sim, I don't want to guide my female protaganist into making out with a bunch of dudes, but hey, that's just me...as far everything else though, I kinda like playing a badass lara croft ;)
@JayQproductions @billlabowski @DiverseGamer 94 percent of americans have access to broadband...but I agree with you on the discs, there are more reasons to keep a disc than just being the only way to obtain the game, people like having a physical copy and a box and manual, they like used games, they like sharing games, they like the experience of going out to the store on release day, and the excitement of carrying it home and popping it in the tray.
@MinerAvatar wait, how do you prove how many copies were pirated?? You say 5 to 1, that sounds pretty outlandish to me, I know piracy is a problem, but I was under the impression that, even heavily pirated games always sell more than are stolen...but yeah, how does one verify how many are pirated?
