Sony helped create Bluray, so they are likely getting a few pennies from MS for that as well. It's not uncommon for companies to adopt other tech. Sony and MS are more worried about their bottom line than pleasing internet fanboys.

Crazy to me that they release a game with fewer features than the last game. If they ever decide they want to finish the game, I'll buy it then.
