Those shows aren't really for gamers, not serious ones anyway. They're for the people who only plays a sports game and a shooter, and doesn't visit gaming sites.
@joshphillips @bluefox755 @lucaslla He listed a bunch of games he liked, he said Mario is great, it sounds like he really wants the system to do well, but it's not. Nobody denies Nintendo's greatness, but this console is certainly not doing justice to the name, whatever the reason. I agree Nintendo was the bigger man for acknowledging their shortcomings, but something has to change if they're going to stay relevant, I think everyone thought Mario would turn things around. It hasn't so far, who knows, maybe it'll start selling more? I'm not a big Nintendo fan, but I realize how important they are to gaming, and I think everyone should want them to succeed, it's good for the market. I don't think anyone, fan or not, can honestly say, that Wii U will continue to be relevant if something doesn't change.
Nintendo has to be worried that releasing big ticket first party games would even be worth it from a financial standpoint. I mean, Mario is Mario, most well known gaming character, and the game rated highly all around. If Mario can't make the console sell, then there is a problem.
@joshphillips @bluefox755 @lucaslla What did he say that was hateful? He was being realistic and giving facts and numbers. You would prefer he pretend the console is doing well? Nintendo themselves have said they've failed with the Wii U. You don't like what he's saying, but it's all true.
@lucaslla Danny is being realistic, he clearly wants Wii U to do well, but well, it's not. There is no hate in this video, everything he said was absolutely true.
