Not Lost Odyssey. It's a great JRPG. It was severely underrated mostly because people felt it was too 'old school'. It did have several features that made it unique though (ring system, thousand years of dreams), and the story is excellent. The game was made by the creator of Final Fantasy, and the music was done by the guy who has done the music for almost every Final Fantasy ever made. 'Nuff said.stay away from the JRPG's. they are all shoddy quality. get Fable 2.

Haha ok true true. My solution is shopping online for games. I've bought the majority of my games in the past 8 months or so online. As a result, I haven't paid more than 50 dollars for a game in about 8 months. And that's after shipping costs (and there's usually no tax online). Amazon.com and the Cheapassgamer forums are lifesavers :)
