Awesome. My 120 GB is almost full, mostly full of installed games. I just like having as many games installed as I can because I never know when I'm going to want to play a certain game again. This is the most exciting part of the update for me now (aside from a hopefully lag-free guide)
Kinda sucks, but if this means that they don't have an achievement where you have to get to the highest level possible, then I'm fine with that. I felt compelled to get every achievement in Mass Effect 1 (and did do so), but it took so much time (4-5 playthroughs, 100+ hours). If I don't have to do that in ME2 then I'm happy. And es, ME2 is a game where I just WANT to get ever achievement. In some games I don't care, but certain games you just want every one you can get haha
I'd love a trophy patch, but at this point doubt they will. Maybe if they ever come out with a 'Subsistance" version of MGS4 they'll patch it in then....
I wouldn't call fall 2009 dead... with titles like Halo 3 ODST, Uncharted 2, Tekken 6, Borderlands, GTA4: The Ballad of Gay Tony, Forza 3, Left 4 Dead 2, Modern Warfare 2, MAG... this year is far from dead. But I agree early next year will be even better, assuming nothing gets delayed. Final Fantasy 13, God of War 3, Bioshock 2, (possibly)Gran Turismo 5... Yep next year is the perfect storm for me :D
I hate FAT32, but yeah sadly you have to use it for PS3. It makes no sense why they would use a format that limits the maximum size of any one file to 4 GB, especially since they let you put HD videos on your PS3 in HD formats, yet don't let you surpass 4GB. Stupid.
October will be painful for my wallet. Uncharted 2, Tekken 6, Forza 3, and possibly Borderlands, plus the new GTA4 DLC, The Ballad of Gay Tony. So yeah, I'm already saving for that haha
I have it and its great. I dont use it for movies because I use my PS3 to play my HD movies, since it can support many more formats, but I use connect 360 for my in game custom soundtracks. It actually loads and plays my music faster via wireless stream than through the external HDD i used to plug in to my 360. Plus, whenever you put new music into your iTunes, it automatically can be streamed to your 360. I highly recommend it if you love using your music in-game
I'm having enough fun just playing the demo! I didn't love the demo enough to want the full game but I thought it was fun. Maybe at 800 points I'd bite but I'm sick of this new 1200 MS point trend...
