All I want to see is an improved custom soundtrack system that works like it does on the 360, and PS2 b/c for non b/c models. Might have to wait a while for that though... :(
For me, it has to be Mass Effect. I have no idea why people like this game. It is so boring. I think the graphics are good but that's about it. The combat is crappy, the story is ok but not enough to get me to play it. It just seems like a very average game.

Mass Effect is one of the greatest games I've ever played. Anyways... I'd have to go with the Rainbow Six Vegas games. Just didn't like em. And Jade Empire. Everyone praised it, but I thought it was really dull. But I might give it another shot, since I haven't tried it since it came out a looong time ago.

Agreed. I haven't paid the full 64.70 or so (after tax) since I got Fallout 3. Just go on amazon, eBay, and forum sites like cheapassgamer.com. The last 2 games I bought (Skate 2 and Killzone 2) I got right at launch online for about 50 bucks each with free shipping and no tax. You just have to look around enough for the deals.
Most likely early next year. This would continue the trend of GoW games coming out around February or March, as all GoW games have in the past, including the PSP one. It really annoys me how people so readily assume a game is coming at a certain time because a vague release date was announced for it just after the game was even announced (sometimes before the game was announced, in which case they base their assumption off of a sketchy gamespot calendar page or a gametop page). Look at mass effect 2. Many people assumed it would come this year before it was even announced. Hate to break people's bubbles, but it's probably coming in Fall of next year at the earliest. And look at GTA4. I can't believe how many people thought it was coming in October 07. We hadn't seen squat on it up until then. I knew it wouldn't come out that year, but for some reason most people thought it would.
PS3 still has more exclusives than the 360 this year. This year looks good, but not great in comparison to 2008 and 2007. We have Uncharted 2 to look forward to, though. The PS3 exclusives I'm most excited about will probably be out (hopefully) in the first half of 2010. (God of War 3 and GT5). I'm most excited for FFXIII above all though. Though it isn't exclusive it will probably be out on Ps3 first, and will probably be the only multiplatform game I will own on the PS3 and not 360 (because it will be out earlier and will probably be better quality on the PS3). So in that sense, I tend to think of FFXIII as exclusive instinctively for some reason. Also Versus XIII looks amazing too. :) Oh, also inFAMOUS comes out in a few months. To me, it kinda looks like the PS3's answer to Crackdown. I mean that in a good way. I loved Crackdown.

You do get the theatre with MGS3 in the essentials collection. Isnt it the one where you walk around on tiles that are the cut scenes and you cant see the ones you havent unlocked yet? Oh ok, maybe you do. My bad, I haven't loaded up MGS3 in a while. I always thought it was on disc 2.

Meh. Some cool stuff but nothing that I'm too interested in. I want to see a FW update that enable PS2 b/c on PS3 models that can't play PS2 games, and a bunch of announcements that probably won't come anytime soon... like another FFX spin-off.
Look around online on forum sites like cheapassgamer.com for deals, go on Amazon a lot, and keep track of the best deals. Sometimes you might find something really good. I'm not gonna go into details about how I got mine because I'd come off like an ass, but basically it was a gift. But I find games all the time for like 15-20 bucks cheaper because I buy online. I got KZ2 for 51 at launch, and Skate 2 for 49 at launch. You jsut have to look around online.
