Well I just got KZ2, and it's pretty amazing. I'm not sure if I will be getting another PS3 game anytime soon.. I usually buy multiplatform games for 360 due to Live features and the ease of custom soundtracks on the 360. My next PS3 purchase might be Uncharted 2, unless GoW3 comes out before that. I'm mostly looking forward to FFXIII, which I WILL be getting on PS3 even though it is multiplat. It was meant for PS3, was built for PS3, and will be better on the PS3.

I'd definitely be willing to pay for that. I have a 40gb and would really like to play PS2 games on my PS3. I have a slim PS2 but I would prefer to play on my PS3, with wireless controllers and no need to hook up my PS2 to my TV, which would really solve a lot of clutter going on with wires in my room... But yeah I'd be willing to pay up to 50 or 60 probably, I'd probably just sell the PS2 to get it

Well I don't think anyone wants to play games with ugly fat chicks, but games shouldn't use sex as the selling point in a game. Anyone who buys a game for sex appeal alone is.. well.. not smart.

I guess you could start with 4 but I would suggest starting from the beginning. You won't understand a lot, and if you get into the series you will already know the ending and it won't be as exciting to play through the old games. I started with 3 when it came out, but that was a prequel so it worked out better. I then worked my way backwards from 2 to 1, then back up from 1 to 2 to 3, then to 4 when it came out. I wouldn't suggest starting with 4, but you will probably still enjoy it if you do.

Hahaha no, Fable 2's story was a joke. I started ignoring it about halfway through and stopped watching the cutscenes. I would usually browse around online while having to sit through them. Though the dog did bring some emotion to the game, the rest of the story lacked it. This is all IMO of course, not trying to offend. Final Fantasy X (and the good ending to X-2), Metal Gear Solid 3, and Metal Gear Solid 4 are the only games that have brought some tears to my eyes.

Just FYI in case anyone didn't know, they're bringing back the weekly XBLA deals on a regular basis, according to Major Nelson's blog. I just got it, and I must say, it is an amazing game. Who says videogames can't be art? This game is like an amazing watercolor painting in motion, has amazing music, and is really a great experience so far. Requires some thinking too, which is a nice change considering most of the games out today! Highly recommended.

Because of money, simply put. Plus, developers don;t have to test games as much and fine tune them as carefully thanks to patches, now that most consoles are online, and also they can add on DLC to games and charge extra later down the road, rather than include those things with the game to begin with.

get a PS2 and play Final Fantasy X... but other than that, you can try Fallout 3, Gears of War 2, and Silent Hill: HomecomingEssian

Agreed. FFX is the saddest (and greatest) game I have ever played (though FFX-2 sort of counters that by wrapping up the story with a happy ending). Also the MGS series is pretty sad.

But seeing as how this is the 360 board, the saddest 360 game I have ever played is Lost Odyssey. Eternal Sonata is kinda sad too, but it was hard for me to get into. There isn't really much else on the 360... games told better, deeper, and more emotional stories back in the last gen IMO, when the PS2 thrived with single-player, story driven titles. I didn't find Gears 2 emotional at all... Dom's voice acting was wayy over-exaggerated and the whole Maria mini-storyline felt forced and unnatural IMO.

Makes sense, I figured that they had to do this. I would never pay 60 dollars for 3 hours worth of content that I'm expected to play over and over, then pay 10 dollars for each add-on to the game. By making this DLC free, I may actually consider picking the game up eventually. If Valve releases lots more dlc for free, I might check it out.

Hate to break your bubble but GT4 was the FIRST PSP game announced and we have seen NOTHING on it. I wouldn't be surprised if it's canceled. The only PSP game I will be getting pretty much for sure this year is FF: Dissidia. Besides that, maybe Resistance: Retribution. If they came out with a FFX spin-off like they did with Crisis Core I would be the first to buy though...
