Upload complete!

[video=cnE7ljav5b4KvzM]

Well I have successfully uploaded my first video, and I hope you guys n girls like it. I have decided that I will start doing video blogs myself, once I get a webcam and break my nerves. For the time being, I thought I would make you laugh instead.

Enjoy.

5..4..3..2..1..DS LIte is Go!

As most of you know the DS Lite is now out in America, and will hit our European streets in just over a week. Well I now have my Lite fund secured and very secretly stashed. I pre-ordered mine from Gameplay, with copies of New Super Mario bros, Brain Age, Metroid Hunters, and Mario Kart DS, thrown in for good measure. I'm really looking forward to it, as this will be the first portable games system I have bought myself since the original gameboy.

I've not really had much time to play any video games this last week, as I have just started a new job which takes up allot of time. However, I have managed to get to the last level of Goldeneye: Rouge Agent. I'm hoping to clock it over the weekend, and possibly get the review up in the next couple of weeks.

England are doing well in the world cup, which can't be anything else but great. They haven't been the best performances, and I know we can play better. I'm just hoping that we get Ecuador in the next round and not Germany.

Last of all I just wanna say a few thanks to some people:

SamQur for making me a really cool new sig.

MrChupon for the excellent critique he gave me for my PoP review; the changes are being made. (When I have the time)

Shleco for the serious gaming sessions we've had over the last few weeks.

Last of all I just wanna say thanks to all the members of The Surrounding Force Union for the welcome I've got since joining. If you like Star Wars, there is no other place to be!

Thats all for today, Ciao!

"You will not live through this" said the prince.

Well as you know I beat Prince of Persia: Warrior Within the other day, and as promised have posted the review. Have a look and let me know your thoughts.

As far as my day today is concerned not much has been going on. Done some painting with my daughter this morning, (what a mess, lol)  but still managed to squeeze in an hour on rogue agent. Its ok, but certainly not the best FPS that I've played before. I'll let ya know my thoughts once I beat it.

Not sure if anyone has seen this, but I watched a couple of episodes of my favourite cartoon when I was like five tonight, Thundercats. That is such a classic.

Anyway thats all for today, hope you all like the review and now I'm signing off. 8)

At last, I did it!!

Yes, as you have most probably guessed from the title I have done something. On saturday I went to go see MI:3, which was absolutely brilliant, however, thats not what I did that im so excited about. What I am excited about is (drum roll) that I have finally clocked Prince of Persia: Warrior Within on the gamecube. The last boss has kept me from doing this all week, but tonight when i said those fatal words to my tired girlfriend "one more go" I was triumphant. As soon as I picked my jaw up off the floor after the awesome cut scene, I danced around the room in happiness. I can now move onto another game, yippee. Hopefully I can get a review up on the site soon to share my thoughts on the second installment of the series.

In other news

I picked up a great deal this weekend from my local Gamestation. They are doing some really interesting deals in there at the moment, and i managed to pick up Killzone-PS2, Headhunter-PS2, Goldeneye: Rogue Agent-GC, and Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow-GC all for 20 pounds which I thought was great. 8)

I also for the first time this weekend got my mitts on 'We Love Katamari' which was interesting. At first i thought "oh my god, i'm hallucinating" and then about 10 minutes into it i started to actually enjoy playing it. I thought the spinning ball was hypnotising me, but then just realising that this is actually a really fun game to play.

The only other tit bits I've got for ya are:

1. That W.H.Smiths overprice all of their gaming goods, don't shop there for games. eg- WHS sell a GB SP for 80 pounds.....shriek!!

AND

2. I got beaten (or owned as some say) at Mario Kart: Double Dash and Burnout 2 by my girlfriend. (cries pathetically) :o

a th a tha a le a that's all folks!

She broke it!!!

I have gone to war, yes, you heard me right, I have gone to war with my daughter for an act of terrorism. While I was indisposed this morning in the bathroom, my daughter pulled out my gamecube, opened the disc tray, and took in her hands my killer 7 disc. OH WHY did I leave it in there last night??

In the style of mr Miyagi, the disc went wax on, wax off, across the radiator and now it wont read at all. It now lies in the bottom of my bin in despair, while I prepare to send my daughter on a trip to Davey Jones locker!

Retro moment

All this talk about next gen has been making me go abit dizzy. I was wondering what your favourite retro games from old were.

Mine were:

Nes: Megaman 2, Mario Bros 3, and Snake, Rattle & Roll.

Master System: Alex the kid, Sonic the hedgehog

DS Lite 23rd June

I have decided that i'm going to get myself a Black DS Lite when it is released at the end of june. The original DS appealed to me but i always thought it was a bit to bulky, this on the other hand is slick and very sexy.

Oh yes indeed, it's going to look very nice next to my Wii at the end of the year!

Prince of Persia Warrior Within

I've been playing this game now on and off for about 3 months, and i'm finally on the last boss. It's just so hard!! I got her down to the las 6th of life this morning but couldn't last anymore. I havn't been able to collect all of the health upgrades which is a bummer, but i will, I WILL kick her butt by the end of this week!!!

Seems abit strange??

I'm not sure what you guys think, but something just doesn't seem right to me. Nintendo are changing the way video games are played by creating new amazing technology, making the connection between the consumer and the game closer than ever. They have done this with the motion sensor on the wii controller, and looks very impressive.

Then suddenly at the E3 conferrence sony unveil the motion sensor capabilities that the PS3 controller has. Copying bastards. They just couldn't let Nintendo have their glory. They knew they were going to feel the wrath of Nintendo and couldn't live with being beaten, so they have copied.

What do you guys think??

April Number 1

It's that time again people, time to announce this months flash music number one. It was close this month between some class fallout boy vids, and a couple of other close entries. But this japanese anime song came top by a mile. I present to you with no further delay the egg song, performed by... well... an egg.

Enjoy!

The egg song

It's back, It's back I tell you.

Over the last couple of months I just seemed to lose total interest in the video game world, not playing them or logging onto gamespot. However, it's back, and i have none other than Shleco to thank for it as he bought me a top game for my birthday which has re-lit the gaming fire in my soul (yipee).

God of war is an awesome game, it had me on the edge of my seat all the way through. I've also wrote a review on it so take a look when you get the chance.

Apart from turning 21 on saturday just gone, not much else has been happening so if anything interesting has happened your end, let me now. Anyway i'm off now, i'm sure you'll notice me back in the forums pretty soon, eh.....why am I still writing?? lets get posting.
