a not-so-gimmicky physics engine. they advertised that you could blow up ANYTHING, but all the damage was clearly scripted to the buildings, wooden fences and trees ONLY.

I recently purchased Medieval 2: Total War Kingdoms for the PC. I own the original Medieval 2 as well, but it is on Steam, rather than a boxed copy. When I go to install Kingdoms, it tells me that I need to install the original game first (which has been on my hard drive for ages). Can someone tell me how I can go about solving this problem?

I'm betting Mafia on this one. more (un)reported murders/homicides that could be traced back to the Mafia... Jimmy Hoffa anyone?

but what DID shock me was when the Red Hot Chili Peppers announced their "temporary" retirement. They were one of the few bands that became extremely popular that did it for the love of the music all these years, through all the labels, merchandising, and other opportunities to sell out and become washed up like so many other bands in that era did.

It's funny how many people said Metallica, those guys have been bickering at each other since St. Anger... not to mention (to whoever said Smashing Pumpkins) that both the guitarist and bassist left that band shortly after their second-to-most recent album, and it was really apparent on their newest album. (aka it was terrible.)
