If you decide IPS I would recommend the Dell U2312HM

[QUOTE="GummiRaccoon"][QUOTE="jonleeprice"] You wanted to share some unboxing?? dude shut up this is an out and out show of thread, go and get yourself a life man.....jesus.jonleeprice
u mad
Not mad or jelly just hate show offs, from the cost of what he has paid for those i am guessing he isn't all that young....therefore should have grown out of showing of like this. And what is there to be "jelly" about? the fact he has spent $2k on gpu's to run the same games as the rest of us? 1 x 670 is more than enough for anyone........he has bought them purely to show of, there is no other reason. If you believe that he bought them purely to show off (in an online forum no less) then perhaps you should just shake your head and shrug your shoulders.

[QUOTE="EliteM0nk3y"]It would be nice if it came to other countries as well, like, say Canada, which is just north of the US.jakes456
North and south/east. Don't forget about Alaska.
Alaska is part of the US...
also never been to a gamestop. I keep reading gamespot...
I think that was his point.
What about the BenQ VW2420H?

Thanks for the suggestion but I am really hoping to try out a monitor with an IPS panel.
Bruin- Good to hear, unless I am convinced otherwise I will go with the Dell.
Hi, I am trying to pick out a new monitor. The only games I play on PC are SC2 and I may also play Diablo 3. Also, I will be watching an occasional blu ray movie. Other than that I will be doing work on my PC- mainly word, excel, and statistical software. I have heard that IPS is the way to go despite not typically having as fast of a refresh rate or response time. Anyway, here are some IPS monitors I am considering. If you know of some that are better feel free to make a suggestion. I am looking in the $170-$270 range. Preferably it would have a decent stand, be 1920x1080, and be 23"-24". I think right now I am leaning most heavily towards the Dell below.
Dell 2312HM
Viesonic VX2336S
Viewsonic UP2365WB
NEC EA232WMI-BK
LG IPS231P-BN
LG IPS236V
Thanks for the input. I did check out microcenter recently but not too much going on. Great place though.
Ok, here are some I am thinking of. They are all IPS monitors. What do you think?
Viewsonic VX2336S
Viewsonic UP2365WB
ASUS VS229H-P(May be too small at 21.5")
NEC EA232WMI-BK
LG IPS231P-BN
LG IPS236V
Hi, I am having difficulty choosing a monitor. The only games I play on PC are SC2 and I may also play Diablo 3. Other than that I will be doing work on my PC- mainly word, excel, and statistical software. I want the monitor to have tilt and do NOT want it to have sound. I would like it to be 23-24 inches and 1920x1080. Anything come to mind? Thanks.
