I can get 7.1 surround to work with Team Fortress 2 but not with Half Life 2 (Every time I go to set the audio as 7.1 in the options menu it reverts back to "2 speakers"). Any one know what might cause this. I have TekNmotion Pulsar SX headphones and have installed the drivers that come with it and set it up with 7.1 in the control panel. Also I am running windows vista 32 bit. Any one know possible sollutions? I tried installing Creative Alchemy v1.20.04 but it says something like "this program is not supported"...I figure it is a firewall problem but don't know what to unblock. Thanks for any help.

I think the first link you gave me is taking me to the wrong place...Anyway I have been trying to download version 1.20.04 for a long time now and can't get it to work...Here is the link I have been at- http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/Other-DRIVERS-TOOLS/Others/Creative-ALchemy-12004.shtml I have downloaded the bittorent client like it asked but it still won't let me install it...

Thanks.

Did it used to work or has this happened since you first installed it? If it's happened all along you might try reinstalling. I don't think it could be a patch issue because I think you must have installed them all since it's letting you start to play.
