I Don't understand the reasoning to reduce material drops ever. I mean who in the hell complained about motes of light and strange coins raining down?

@Allstar3514 My question...why would a new player to the game even attempt to collect VoG raid gear and weapons today when the weapons and armor are weaker than the ones the vendors sell? And you think that is a good thing?

I'd be much happier if they continued the game as it was rather than basically wiping the longtime players. I could have stopped at level 28 months ago...then pick the game back up for the new DLC and be on par with the long time grinders of the game. Bungie dropped the ball.

The DLC killed the game for me.

All the stuff i had earned...useless. I felt all that raiding in VoG was just wasted. I bought the DLC..i was excited for crota...i was level 30 biding my time until the DLC arrived..after playing the DLC for about 6 hours or more...i got more and more upset on how they implemented the expansion and how it affected players like me.

yesterday's generation did not need a good story either. Who played Contra for hours on end because of the story? Syphon Filter had a great story? Need for Speed Underground 2? did Golden Eye nail the story..i mean who played Golden Eye rushing from cut scene to cut scene? Is the story of Mario Bros why that game was so popular? BLACK on ps2? Heck Max Payne had a decent story and the story seemed to become the focus..but when Max Payne first hit consoles...everyone loved diving in slow motion killing a room of baddies...no one really cared about the story.

A good story is a bonus to good gameplay.

@dronzie @Rehvyn21 So Destiny should make you use a sniper rifle? And then make you use a sparrow...and then make you be stealthy? That is what other shooters seem to do.

MMO/RPG FPS game...all of the elements work great. The reviewer seems to have wanted a sandbox game that was action adventure. Reviewer lost his focus.
