i will buy it as soon as it comes out.

haven't purchased a game since R6:Vegas (and unfortunitly did not care for it at all, though i was a fan of the prior R6's)  hope GRAW 2 is atleast as enjoyable as the first GRAW.  infact i kinda see this one as the way they intended GRAW to be.  they sorta rushed the first one but now with the extra year to iron out wrinkles i have high expectations.

just hope i do like it.  other then God of War 2 there are no games i plan on buying until either Mass Effect, BioShock, or BiA.  and those games all seem to have tenetive release dates at best.

where did you get these pictures?  i have seen a vidoe/trailer for this game/engine but i don't remember seeing the black-clad protagonist (if that is and not the antagonist).

and i was unaware that this game was now PS3 exclusive.  oh well, when i finally get around to getting a PS3 in a year or so this looks like a game i might be interested in.  time will tell.

the title of this topic makes me long for the good old days...

back when if you played ANY video game you were a nerd/geek/loser.

did we really need to sub-catagorize our hobby so we can start excluding our own?  do we really need to critiize each other for our preference for PC/console? keyboard mouse/controller? ATI/Nvidia?

maybe they don't "dumb down" games for consoles, maybe some PC users are just arogant?  isn't that just as likely?  sorry about that remark if anyone took offence to it.  i'll leave the insults to the meat heads from now on.

add the ability to fastfoward through songs.  why don't they have this feature?  i can't even listen to some of the "seceret songs" i have on cd's.

   Hey, I was wondering what some of the scariest moments from any PC game that made you lose sleep or just scared or creeped that crap out of you?

For me the scariest moment in any PC game was probably Resident Evil 1 when I was younger and in the begining it shows the zombie with the blood all over his face. Josh9321

i guess since i'm about to mention a GC game this is sorta off topic but it was scary. (atleast it made me drop my controller)

in the GC remake of Resident Evil they used the fact that many people whom had already played the game where also playing this one. in the hallway were you first get attacked by one of the hell hounds they changed when and how the hell hound comes at you.  was expecting something completely different and they caught me off gaurd.

i will say Capcom and it's brand of survival-horror are the only games that have every spooked me like this.  i have high expectations for Resident Evil 5 needless to say.

sry for double post but something just occured to me.  are you saying that the video was made using something other then the Crytek engine?  i gather that they didn't actually make the video (model the enviroment, make textures, ect.) but are you saying that some other program other then CryEngine 2 was used to make the video? 

if so it seems rather impressive also.

that proves my point.  their engine is robust enough it doesn't even have to be a video game for someone to utilize it.  but in still wonder why no one else seems to use it for a video game.  maybe Crytek isn't selling? 

i think some "cheat codes" have their place.  some games like say a GTA can benefit from them.  i liked being able to spawn almost any type of vehicle when ever i wanted just to mess around.  or giving myself large amount of ammo and 5 stars then seeing how long i could survive (always tried to take the chase to land, see and air).

some cheats are just stupid.  Big Head cheat?  yeah it was kinda funny in that old basketball game (NBA Jam i think?) but kinda dumb is say, a FPS.

oh yeah, and you shouldn't be able to use cheats online unless that is a parameter for your search.  i used to hate it in GR when someone would use the 2-d cheat, big head, and the chicken gnade cheat.  lame.

just make sure you do all the case files and get to the roof before the 72 hours are up.  the game will tell you what to do from there.

make sure the attributes you are leveling up are your main ones.  you meed to level them up at least 10 times to raise your whole level.  and when i say ten times it can be any combo of your main attributes.  like you can level one 5 times and 5 others once or whatever.

if your a warrior casting heal all the time it wont ever raise your level (unless Restoration is a main skill).

and about being a vampire. dunno.  there is so much to do in this game i'm doing multi play through's and have yet to let myself become a vampire.  i hear that if you work it right you can use it to have higher then 100 in some of uor stats.  like strength or endurance.
