some one mentioned they thought the ability to just buy your way past the hacking as being a stupid idea. i for one kinda disagree with that. but it realy depends on what money is ultimetly used for in this game. if all i do with it is hack machines and buy the occasional Pep Bar from a vending machine they yeah, it it pretty lame that you can buy past it. but atleast they give you an option to NOT do it with the puzzle and the puzzle only. that seems to be keeping in with their idea of having multiple way to approach any sitiation.

whatever, you can always just blow the damn things up, yet another option....

i would vote that if you are judging a person based on anything other then the content of there character (not something superficial like age, sex, skin color) then you don't deserve to use Xbox Live.

i find this promotion to be very weird. not to lay judgment on people but i wouldn't consider a Madden fan to be into BioShock. most of the people i know who play Madden pretty much just play sports games. and the occasinal Halo match.

oh well atleast some people are getting a good deal on their games. kudos.

i know its kinda impractle but i wish they would make a light gun that had an "action" on it. the only real cool thing about the time crisis games was that the guns slider went back when you fired like it was ejectining a caseing. forget analog sticks, put some cool motors or springs or something in it.

how about have it come with 2-3 small "clips" that can be inserted and ejected? needa reload in the game...BAM! smack your "new" clip in, pull back the slide and go at it.

i dunno, could be cooler imo.

i'd have to go with the final fight in the original Super Smash Brothers. fighting the hand, it took me right back to playing with my GI Joes and the incredible battles i would have for them. i loved the idea that my toy, that i had been abusing all this time, was finaly fighting back.

neat video. and if its true, props to the programer/enginere or whatever that did that. wonder if there is some sort of copyright infrengment in place with his "custom Wiimote drivers". not that im crying fowl at the idea of doing this.

i liked some of the thigs that were done to the controls, like using a button on the nunchuck to slow down the aim and give a more percision control. i've never used a Wii but from almost every video i've seen it looked like the aim is real eratic for FPS style games on the Wii. have been waiting for Nintendo to make a FPS (metroid 3 maybe?) for the Wii to finaly show everyone else how its supposed to be done. (like they did with Mario one the Dpad and then again when we moved to the analog stick)

i would maybe have opted for some diffrent controls in other parts. like not have melee be on the dpad but maybe motion forward with either the nunchuck or the Wiimote. since the jump was set to moving the nunchuck "up" i don't see why not.

so is the EE chip stil that expensive? does it still cost them like 100 dollars to manufacture it? if they can make an entire PS2 for brand new and sell it for 150$ or so i can't see how eliminating the EE chip will really help cut costs.

oh well i guess every little bit helps. but with that logic in mind why don't they get rid of some of it's other features to cut costs? not raising them by adding another 20 GB to the HD (wich i think most people will agree both Sony and MS are screwing the public of HD storage to cost ratio)

i've read EGM off and on for over15 years andi've found that the Rumor Mole is right maybe %50 of the time. not to say this isn't true but i would take it with a grain of salt.

i wonder if most of the people on this thread even read the TP link. it said nothing about HD DVD. it was about requiering the HARD DISK DRIVE to play games. atleast some of the people on this post seems to get that.

and to get back on topic. this may have a factor in weather the 360 ever see's MGS 4 but i would think there are other bigger thinks in play. namely money.

oh well if it never happens i'll just play thae game in like 2-3 years when i can get a PS3 on the cheap and play all it's backlogged games.

i've posted this before on other topics but no one ever commented sooo...here we go again.

i would like to see a combo of the mouse and the nunchuk(sp?) attachment for the Wii. the only thing i don't like about a m/k controll sceme is the WASD. it's not comfortable and it's not user friendly. it may give you acsess to a hundred buttons or so but that can be a double edge sword.

i would rather use some sort of analog stick to controll my character and a mouse to controll the view/aim. you could fit atleast 3/5 button on the analog stick and atleast 5 on the mouse. and not counting the analog sticks or the d-pad on a PS# or 360 controller they only have 8 buttons.

i dunno, it may work it may not. i would atleast liek to try thisfor myself but i'm not a enginer so i'll have to wait to see if anyone makes this.
