We all know that the biggest weakness of Natal is the fact there are no buttons to press. However, I think Microsoft CAN introduce buttons in the future, by introducing a nunchuck-like accessory. You see, Natal tracks your hand movements, so if you have a nunchuck in your hand, Natal could calculate the position of your hand, and then determine where the nunchuck is or which position it is facing. Maybe it would help if the nunchuck had some kind of accelerometer, but it wouldn't need any complex technology if Natal already knows where your hards are. I am no expert in these things, but I'm sure Microsoft is capable enough to introduce a nunchuck to Natal:)

What are your thoughts on this? Do you think MS will do this one day? I know we all hate buying loads of accesories, but I think MS will do this once Natal gets more popular and the games require buttons. They won't introduce nunchuks straight away (they want the entry cost to be small), but once Natal becomes mainstream, a nunchuk accesory would be a great idea. Thoughts?

[QUOTE="RedruM_I"][QUOTE="MizFitAwesome"]So what videogame system had a built in hard drive BEFORE Xbox?

good_sk8er7

The PC :|

And ummm PS2, You could get one optionally if I recall correctly

I just checked my fat ps2 and it has something called an expansion bay, im pretty sure it's for a hardrive.

Also MS claims that natal will work for hardcore games and i really want to know how this will work without buttons.

Topic says it all, hate it or love thats reality.

For example (yes more ps3 bashing)....the almighty killzone 2. sold 2.21 million copies. got rated a 9 and got shooter of the year on GS. impressive no? but wait:o only 899 ppl playing the game online! (killzone.com cows)...whoa so 2 million ppl that got the game, only 900 ppl play it. what does that mean? it means the game is not good PERIOD.

now onto halo 3. cows keep saying "oh its just over hyped thats why it sales so much". sure i can agree with that if it were true.....sure M$ can convince ppl to buy the game with all the ads but can they FORCE you to continue to play the game yeeeeeaaaarrrrssss after the release? NO they can not. houndreds of thousands are playing halo 3 rite now. not because its over hyped, not because M$ is forcing them, but because the game is good. plain and simple....same goes for MW2. thats reality. not reviews, not even sales. sales dont mean nothing if no1 continues to play it.

Revolution316

Oh really cause i quite liked mass effect 2, but i guess if theres no online then it cant have people online and therefore it must suck, right?

Shattered007

They'll release crysis 3 a ps3 exclusive and crysis 4 as an xbox exclusive, just so they can be kings of everything.

Trade my ps3 in for 360? I'm in college and everyone has 360s and I've been bored with the ps3 lately. I'm not excited for GoW3 or any other exclusives for that matter. PS3 online doesn't work in the dorms, while 360's does. I also really want to play ME2, which sounds to me like it's the best game this gen, from how everyone talks about it. So with this info, should I do it?

chaz53132

get a 360 honestly if you dont want the ps3 exclusives and you cant go online whats the point?

Games you almost skipped bacause of reviews they got. I know there are some:roll: Recent AvP finally taught me to pay less attention to game reviews, since it wasn't as bad as reviewers said. Also there were some other games that I really liked when actually gave them a chance:

Stalker SoC- after the game was released I kept hearing how unplayable and unpolished it is. After I finally tried it myself I insta-fell in love with it.

Universe at War- an RTS game from Petroglyph. Was panned by the critics, but I really liked it.

Call of Duty World at War - I never really liked CoD4, and after hearing how this game is inferior to modern warfare, I didn't bother to try it. Until I played it on my friends PC. Now this is my favorite CoD game BY FAR, considering I don't like all the rest of them that much (enjoyed CoD2 back then a bit, but that's it).

F.E.A.R. 2 - Still can't see what's wrong with it and why people keep saying how bad it is. I think it is a good, solid shooter.

Orchid87

Brutal Legend, borrowed it from a friend today and now I love it.

"Story in a game is like a story in a porn movie." - John Carmackfunsohng

John Carmack is a douche, pretty much everyone else on the DOOM development team was cool. also buying a game without a story is like buying a book of random words.

I'm sure all of you have heard this topic before, and probably on this site, but I am a senior in high school and for my senior report, I'm doing it on the violence in video games debate. So, if you are a true gamer, could you please help me out and tell me your opinion on the subject; do violent video games promote violence?

Neo737

We should assassinate all the politicians who say that, then they'd get the message that we're not violent.

Bus-A-Bus

I think it will probably look worse when played in 720p but if it does look that good then it may be a new graphics king (dont whinge about crysis i call that a graphics god and nothing compares to it)

You can read it or watch it here.

Honestly, I don't think it wasn't that fair of a review. The reviewer seemed like a guy who has only played COD4 and MW2, when it comes to FPS multiplayers. They got a guy who didn't even like Bad Company 1 that much, he said "the campaign was dull and the humour was forced". Personally, I loved BC1's campaign and found it very funny. Apparently, BC2 was marked down for a short campaign and not have that "epic feel". I'm not complaining at all about the score, I'm just not sure about the justification. Sorry if this is already been posted (I don't think it has).

Anyways, what do you guys think about the review? I think they got the wrong guy for it, honestly.

anime_gamer007

I think alot of reviewers these days havent been playing games for very long, and the only reason they got where they are is because alot of casual gamers agree with them
