@alien-ouy: I used to think like you until I made an effort to understand the story, which is not told, but shown by the scenery and item descriptions. Story in this game is one of the best in gaming but sadly I can't talk much about it without giving spoilers. It's about a lie that's been told for centuries and to find out about it you can't play the game like you would most other games. Basically it plays with the concept of videogames and how we diligently do things that we are asked for.
I don't remember the last time I bought an EA or Activision game. Maybe BF 2142 a hundred years ago lol.
Ubisoft still manages to fool me sometimes. I bought For Honor with that stinking client hosted multiplayer that pauses and crashes sessions when the host leaves.
It's hard to find companies in any industry that screw up their customers like those 3. Funny thing is that apparently there was a good game behind this money-grabbing system in SWBF2, but they are so greedy they'd rather ruin their own game than sell it with honest intentions. When they saw the shitstorm approaching it was too late to redesign the whole system.
@thelostscribe: The Xbox One is slower than the PS4 because it's memory bandwith is far slower. Microsoft made a workaround to this by including 32MB of ESRAM but developers opt to simply lower the resolution instead of going through intricacies.
About the newer consoles, 200mhz of difference is nothing. And yes you can up the resolution with more RAM but it remains to be seen if it's noticeable in such high res. Maybe only if you play very close to a large 4K TV. And again, there are PC GPUs with less memory but faster than others with more.
Not trying to prove anything, I just think they are not informing us all they should about the hardware.
Funny how specs from XB1X and PS4 pro are pretty similar and what websites show to prove how the XBX is more powerful is the number of teraflops, which is a very unreliable way of measuring how powerful a GPU is. There are PC GPUs that have less teraflops but are faster than others with more.
I'm not saying the XB1X isn't more powerful, I just think the difference is gonna be quite small.
Am I the only one that thinks this game is a poor man's Dead by Daylight? It is so poorly designed Jason has to teleport and enter a "speed of light" mode to catch anyone... unlike any of the films.
And the counselors fatiguing every few seconds is so annoying with a map so big.
@uninspiredcup: I managed to get every skin I wanted without paying a dime. Just play the game and you'll eventually get enough gold to buy the skin you want if you don't get it by chance. First box I opened in this event I got the new Zarya skin.
I don't understand people that put money in this game.
