@Barighm: Happily waiting to find out when they will enable the internal expansion. An external SSD is doing the job for now with my PS4 games, but there will soon come a time when that won't be enough. At least we can now store PS5 games on the external. Not an ideal solution, but I'll take it.
@bdrtfm: To each their own, but personally I love the look. Moved a few things around and put a small end table next to my tv upon which is the PS5 and dual controller charge station. Don't give up hope, you'll find one eventually. My brother is still trying to get one as well.
@itchyflop: Dust and the Ori games were originally on XB. Dust made it's way to the other systems some time ago and the creator(one guy made the game) seems to be hinting at a sequel in the works. It's all hand drawn animation and the story is rather good.
The Ori games have made their way to Swtich(a perfect fit for that type of game). I haven't made my way to the second one and have yet to finish the first, but again, great story and the gameplay is really good.
Hollow Knight is also a good one! Got myself stuck at a certain battle and haven't gone back to it for a bit(my reaction times aren't what they used to be XD).
I'll have to check out Guacamole. Always looked at it, but never game it a chance.
Two more to look into: Indivisible - An RPG/platformer, pretty fun game. Cristales - More to the RPG side, but it's got a pretty unique gameplay feature. Not out yet, but coming soon.
@itchyflop: Now I need to break out my Vita and play some Axiom Verge! XD
Looking forward to Prime 4, even if I wasn't a huge fan of FPS Metroid...it's more Metroid though, so I'll take what I can get, haha.
Edit - If you haven't checked out the Shante series, it's excellent. I'd also highly recommend Dust: An Elysian Tale. Can't forget the Ori games, either.
@walbo: There are ways to do so, but nothing that is unified across platforms, without having a secondary platform to assist. You could have a party chat across plats(going to use PS as an example) if all parties on every platform playing also had a PS account and linked that way. that would require those on XB and PC to be signed into PSN(in the case of XB, on the PC or mobile).
Pretty sure the same could be done on the XB platform with the same requirement from PS players(never tried that one, just assuming).
Don't even get me started on the convoluted system Ninty went with.
TL;DR - If Discord became a standard across plats, it would make inter-plat coms all the easier.
