@Thanatos2k:I know it's really hard for you to understand, but my statement was very simple. An item that costs more does not equal an upgrade.

My example is extremely relevant to my point, higher price does not equal an upgrade.

That was it, end of story, no more to discuss.

I'm not avoiding any questions as that question is completely irrelevant to my statement, you're just derailing the issue in a feeble attempt to make yourself feel superior in a conversation that is clearly above your comprehension.

But seeing as you're after an answer to an irrelevant question, the Switch OLED is neither a scam or an upgrade. It's a hardware revision. Similar to PS4 Slim or Xbox1S or any other revision of consoles that have been released after the initial system. If it were an upgrade it would have increase system specs, not a simple screen replacement.

Lets put it in simple terms for you. PS4 slim is a revision. PS4 Pro is an upgrade. Maybe get a buddy to translate for you as you're clearly struggling.

@Thanatos2k:What do you mean which is it. Increased cost does not equal upgrade. That's it, end of story.

I wasn't quoting MSRP, I was using an example.

@Thanatos2k: I didn't pick either, I said just because something costs more doesn't mean it's an upgrade.

A game costs $70 in store A. In store B it costs $80. Does that mean the exact same game in Store B is an upgrade?

It's no different than a slim model PS4 is not an upgraded PS4.

@Thanatos2k:It's not fanboy logic. Just because something costs more does not make it an upgrade.

While adding an OLED screen and an ethernet port is an upgrade is debatable, it's still using 5 year old tech with the same shitty JoyCons.

@cubachino: Is there some unwritten law that people who own a switch are only allowed to use a 32" TV?

@G-Corleone:if it costs more, it is definitely an upgrade.

That's not how it works, at all.

@urxarchnemesisx:They went Live Service partly because everybody bitched and moaned that DLC/Season Passes "fracture the playerbase!". Hint- they don't! The games are just as populated as they would be, but the vocal minority think they deserver everything for free.

And lets not forget the classic delusion that "all DLC has been cut from the game before release" because some gamers are absolute entitled assholes and have no idea how much more is involved in games production nowadays compared to two decades ago.

I do hope if they insist on trying to jump on the BR bandwagon this time that they make that part free or it's going to crash n burn just like it did with Firestorm.
