Also when they built the system it's like to guys making gaming rigs. One goes for the cheaper GPU not as capable, yet passable. And the other guy goes for the more expensive higher end GPU, which will give him higher resolutions and better framerates overall. So one guy will always be behind, until he upgrades. Which may not happen for years, or ever. That's the case of MS and Sony. One company shopped well, the other was cheap and didn't give much of a s%$t. lol Pretty simple:

I wouldn't mind 30fps at 1080p, especially with such a beautiful game. I'm sure they could hit 40 in most places, which is great. 60fps was much more apparent in the PS4 version, which I played first. Still lots of pop-in-out textures even at 900p. But played well. On Xbox One, meh, not so much, even at 720p, it looked "good" not great, but I'd say it dipped down in the mid 30's a lot. Xbox One just is not meant for both high resolution and good FR. I remember the article where it said you can have either (with Xbox One), "Next gen gameplay or next gen graphics, you can't have both". Which has turned out to be the case. I still like mine a lot though. PS4 is just pretty boring at the moment. Even though I'm playing uncharted collection. SW Battlefront seems ok, but not as stellar as I had hoped. maybe that will change.
@tony56723: Yeah unless it's FORZA and you're sorely lacking content, (cars), it's nothing. Don't get it,, I think 20 to 40hrs (completionist) will suffice. Geez.
"A worthy sequel?" That's it? That's all. The developers don't seem all that impressed with themselves. Sounds insecure. Why not say "An Incredible Mind blowing experience"...or "The Best Tomb Raider Yet!!"? That's like me winning an award and saying enh thanks, I'm ok. lol..........Let's hope with all the hype it's beyond WORTHY. pfft
I was really looking forward to this, now I'm not, at least not on next gen. I don't have much use for my XB1 anymore, I'll get the Nathan Drake Collection next week for my PS4. This doesn't look good at all, and yes I do mean graphically. What I've come to expect from XB1, which puts out a great looking game like Ryse with mediocre gameplay, but can't get a decent 1080p action title to save it's life. I'll get it for 50$ on 360. I'm sure Nixxes did/does a killer job. They had a quote on a site months ago saying Nixxes was doing a "mind blowing" job. Good aloha game for 360. I'll get it next year for PS4 (maybe). Just looks exactly like the TR DE for XB1. Which wasn't nearly as good as the PS4 version. I'm 40, so i know what I like. Far from a fanboy/man. Just tired of MS hype, then they don't deliver the goods. I was actually thinking wow I knew that Gamescom footage HAD to be PC. Looks like I was right. sigh. :(
