@ipar: I understand that's your opinion but it's based on nothing other than your personal biases. Name 1 XB1 exclusive that was nominated for multiple GOTY awards this year. The PS4 has Bloodborne. Also, Kojima came to rise on the Playstation. Kojima was making MGS on Playstation back when the XBOX was still just an innocent tad pole in Bill Gates ball sack. MGS and the PS2 are a nostalgic partnership that are synonymous with each other. It doesn't make any sense for Kojima to choose Microsoft over Sony at this point.
@Redsyrup: And when MGS does have a story people complain that it's too long and convoluted. Kojima had it right in MGS1, but after that his storytelling took a very strange direction.
MGS1 - 3 were awesome games. I think Kojima kind of lost his way when making 4 and 5 because by then he was already an established icon and the games were more expensive to produce. Hopefully he has the same amount of creative freedom he once did when working on PS2. I'm very anxious to see what he has in the works.
@coop36: We're not talking about the current Wii U controller, we're talking about the patent. There's no indication of analog sticks and for all intents and purposes, the entire front appears to be a touch screen.
@IanNottinghamX: Listen, dumbass. When you're playing a game on PlayStation or XBOX, the controllers have physical buttons - haptic feedback, which allows you to look away from the controller while playing the game. With a touchscreen, there's no haptic feedback. Try using an iPhone without looking at it. That's the point I was trying to make.
@sakaixx: A touch screen requires the user to look at the screen because there's no haptic feedback. So a touch screen can't really add anything to games you play on your television. You need physical buttons to play that way. This is just Nintendo showing off how distinctive they are again. Who the hell plays games on their Wii controller? That oughta hurt your neck after a while. I never understood that platform.
@jdlok: How can people say it's an annualized series when Miyazake had nothing to do with DS2. Bloodborne left much to be desired, IMO. So hopefully, this is that Dark Souls sequel we were anticipating in 2013 but with a serious graphics upgrade.
