@kjouda: I prefer Demon's/Dark Souls but that still doesn't take anything away from Bloodborne. Bloodborne is more of a casualized Souls experience, I admit, but it's still better than any other game I've played in 3 years.
@TheZeroPercent: My advice, just keep at it until you adapt to the game's rules. You're not the only one, when I started playing Bloodborne I would die every 5 minutes. Eventually I raged quit and started crying into my pillow like a little bitch. But I kept at it. Now, Bloodborne and the Souls games are my favorite games of all time. There's just a learning curve just to get started. There's a certain way to play the game that the game doesn't tell you or make obvious, much like the story, you have to figure it out on your own through trial and error and piece together. This game is awesome once you get the hang of it.
@cip_raziel: I couldn't get into The Witcher 3. I just couldn't get past how douchy Geralt is or his long flowing locks. I don't find anything likable about him. That, and I don't like the forced magic The Witcher series imposes on the player. I like medieval RPG games but I don't like being forced to play as a fruity mage. It's a shame because The Witcher 3 is one of the most beautiful games I'ver seen and appears to have a good story. But it's Bloodborne for me.
@chippiez: Are you people drinking jet fuel? The color palette? Are you serious? You people have obviously never played the game or are just salty because you have an XB1. Visit Yharnam, Hemwick Charnel Lane, Nightmare Frontier and The Hunter's Dream and tell me all these places look the same. "Art direction is not From's strong suite." Bloodborne is one of the best looking games ever made, son!
@lomar07: Dude, Souls games are not really that hard, there's just a learning curve to playing the game that isn't made obvious from the start. You'll have a lot of items that appear to be useless at the start, but after a while, you realize these items are beneficial to keep you from losing progress over and over. Learning how to play the game is half the battle.
@G4mBi7: "story non-existant". The story is there it just isn't hand fed to you. There's a deep intricate mystery in there that you have to piece together, it unique in how it's presented in contrast to other cutscene heavy games.
