I'm guessing Sony is getting ready for Black Friday Christmas sales. I have no clue why so many people are buying nex gen when the games aren't very good. All I see is rehashes of older games and First Person Shooter blandness that has been done to death over the past 15 years. Personally I think it's still too soon to buy a nex gen console, but then again I am in my early 30s and am more than content playing my old school NES, SNES, n64, PS1, PS2, even PS3 Xbox 360 games. The market is just flooded with games right now and the modern games are more focused on graphics than gameplay. I want fun platforming, RPGs, racing, strategy, simulation, not bragging rights of the most superior graphics having 4K resolution.

I absolutely refuse to purchase any new wrestling game released until 2K completely revitalizes the engine meaning not copying from past games. I purchased an Xbox One this year to experience WWE 2K16. I was majorly disappointed by all the glitches, unwelcome mini games that work well in the UFC games but should not be in wrestling games, how ridiculously challenging the story mode was after creating a character. I spent nearly 30 minutes trying to win my first match, and after playing for a few hours I gave up on the game entirely because it was simply NOT FUN, and I've been playing wrestling games since Pro Wrestling on the NES which is more fun because of its simple controls and its not too challenging. To calm myself down from the anger caused by WWE 2K16 I played WWF No Mercy and could not understand what is so hard about recreating this same type experience? The AKI team laid the ground work years ago on how to create a wrestling game and all 2K needs to do is copy the formula possibly adding some tweaks.

When will Nintendo finally have voice over acting? I love the Paper Mario series but after playing a while I feel like I am reading a novel instead of playing a video game.

Although the NX may be a commercial failure I will buy the video game console if the hardware is great, and Nintendo starts returning to its roots reviving old franchises . Nintendo desperately needs to work on getting 3rd party support from at least Activision, Rockstar, and EA. Those three companies produce the most titles to give gaming consoles variety appealing everyone. Give us a new Mario, Startropics, Punch Out, Kirby, Excitebike, Dejavu, etc. Nintendo has several franchises which have not seen the light of day in 20+ years! Reclaim the rights to older developers such as Sunsoft to revive some of the best side scrolling video games from the 1990s including Blaster Master, Faxanadu, Double Dragon, etc. Most important of all is introduce new IPs!! If the games are there, they will come.

The video game so far does not spark any interest with me. Hopefully we will see some gameplay soon.

The new Playstation 4 neo is all nice and everything if you're wanting to watch TV shows and movies however I play video games for the gameplay experience and not eye candy. When are more games being released? Remember how the Playstation 2 had all types of variety offered within the first 2 years? GTA3, Kessen, 007 Agent Under Fire, The Bouncer, Metal Gear Solid 2, Theme Park Roller Coaster, Dark Cloud, Ace Combat 04, Gran Turismo 3, etc. All of these games were released before the year 2001 ended. Many of these games were not only exclusive but groundbreaking titles that have gone on to become legendary titles. All I see now is a bunch of copy pasta of the usual same type gameplay offered from previous titles from previous generations. I want to see entirely new gameplay experiences pushing the boundaries of how gamers interact with video games using the controller besides using the left analog stick to move the character and the right analog stick to move the camera. I'm not buying nex generation until I see true nex generation experiences. Until then I will keep gaming on my Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. My eyes will just have to deal with the lame 720HD in games such as Rise of the Tomb Raider although I do not feel deprived in the least since the gameplay experience is the same on other platforms.

When I was growing up if I had to upgrade hardware which meant buying a new video game console it meant the nex generation of gaming. Who do these video game companies think they are trying to fool? This is just a ploy to squeeze every cent out of gamers who are gullible enough not to see the reality. Sony is basically trying to copy the model Microsoft used in the late 2000s releasing upgraded models. If Sony has already sold 10,000,000+ original Playstation 4 models do you think video game developers are going to ignore their major market already established? Expect at least two years before the technology is actually used to even half its potential. We'll just see ports exactly like what happened with the Playstation 3. Remember the almighty "PS3 cell processor" and what games does Sony have to show off this amazing technology? Uncharted series, Little Big Planet, Resistance, and a few other games. Sadly most people who bought a PS3 never bought or played any of those games. If the general public falls into buying new hardware within five years this could become a new trend for every new console platform released in the future. This could also be the fall of consoles if the trend were to happen because everyone would be afraid to buy a new gaming platform at launch because it would become obsolete within a few years.
