Mine is the AC-130. I dominate whenever I get one of those things.

Here's how I do it. Unplug the modem's powercord and battery (some have one some don't). Turn on your 360 and plug it into the modem via the ethernet cord. Then plug the powercord back into the modem (+ battery). The important thing is that the modem powers up while plugged into the turned-on 360. Your mileage may vary.

I absolutely hated it. The gameplay and mechanics are great but the story is terrible; I couldn't stand it.

First off if you dont know the story of Reach... leave. Played the games read the books (books weren't well written IMO) so I know the lure. Whats getting me is if you dont play as Master Chief, YOUR GONNA DIE!!! ("Spartans never die Goerge. Their just missing in action." When I heard the line I peed myself) The books, they tell of a select few Spartans surviving Reach which never ties in with the games which always disappointed me. Linda (I think it was her) didn't die. She got her arm blown off but she's still alive - Master Chief finds out she's in cryo in First Strike... and I think the books are VERY well written... at least the ones by Eric Nyland... and Joe Staten's one.

Didn't they say that the 250 will never be released seperatly? I know that's what my MW2 console has on it and that's what they said when that came out. I just assumed they'd play some number game and release a slightly larger or slightly smaller drive just to be able to say what they did. But yeah I'd expect a bigger drive will be coming soon enough.

Yeah they said that, but they deny a lot of stuff if it isn't officially announced. But it seems pretty logical, them releasing it. They wet everyone's appetite by releasing it on the MW2 console and saying that it won't be available separately so that when it does come out everyone who's been longing for one can rush to retailers everywhere and purchase it. Plus the PS3 has a 250gb hdd so it's good for competition. Spring or Summer. Trust me ;)

yeah a lot of places (including amazon) still have 12 - month subscriptions for $35 (I dunno what that is in euros). When you first connect to Xbox Live though, select "Silver membership" and they'll give you a free month of Gold. But when you decide to buy a subscription, do yourself a favor and get a full year. I did month-to-month for a while and it sucked because I would always be worrying about finding the money to buy more XBL time (in college, no job).

Better yet, drill a couple holes and set it up in your refridgerator.

The box is bad and the carpet is bad, each one is trapping heat and making the XBOX work harder then it has to.

You don't need to see your XBOX when you're using it, just leave that on the table

I disagree sort of. I have mine vertical on the carpet (been there for a year) and it runs the same cool temperature as when I have it standing on a table (I take it downstairs to play on my computer moniter occasionally). If you have it horizontal on the carpet, then it would be trapping heat, but setting it on the box it came in would give you the same clearance as a table. Both are flat...
