I used to own both the PS3 and a wii. Honestly, this year sucked to be a wii owner. No good games were released after Brawl back in March.

I sold my wii and ended up buying 5 PS3 games this holiday season and also paid for a Killzone 2 preorder in full.

No regrets here. I loved my wii when it was first released but honestly look how developers have takin advantage of the casual market..

I haven't seen a crappier year of gaming than the wii's 2008 lineup in a long time. Sell it dude.

No, I think GTAIV will go down as the most hyped game in history, as well as GS.

Remember all the stupid ass trailer dissections?

Great game, though.

GTA4 most overhyped piece of crap ..

I wouldn't go as far as calling it a peice of crap, but I definitely hate the fact it got 10's across the board.

Most overrated game ever, IMO.

I understand your gripe. It can be avoided though... Just don't finish the main quest until your completely done exploring the wasteland and any side quests.

Should you be forced to avoid completing the main quest in order to explore the rest of the game? Probably not, but is it that big of a deal?

Patience is key... don't rush this game.

The only PS3 game I remember pulling an all nighter with is COD4.

Back in the day I remember pulling quite a few though with games such as 007 Goldeneye and Mario 64.

Classics, gotta love em.

If anything I would say Oblivion would be too complicated for them and LBP would be perfect according to their ages.

[QUOTE="americahellyeah"]I'll be buying Fallout 3 once they fix the majority of the glitches... which just so happens to be coming along with the trophy patch as well... signore
youre really gullible eh? Ive put in many hours into Fallout3, and I havent had ONE single glitch. The remedy is just playing offline. Why do you even need to be online for this game, its only offline? Just like with GTA4,, i could see myself coming back to game (im still far from done it),, but i doubt ill do many side quests and prob wont be able to get too many trophies. My guess is that trophy patch will be released same time as DLC for 360, to try and ease the pain a little haha

It's pretty well known there are a few minor glitches with the PS3 version. (It's not flawless) I own it and have put in about 20 hours so far. For the most part I have experienced hardly any glitches. (I avoid the game game freeze by playing offline) Although I have encountered a few minor ones- sometimes during a VATS encounter the enemies body will dissapear except for their head, and other times the game will freeze (even when I'm offline).

By no means am I saying the game sucks and these things happen all the time. They actually only happened a few times during the 20 hours I've put in, but they are there. IMO they aren't enough to avoid playing the game though, and any one considering Fallout 3 shouldn't wait for a patch to fix these minor glitches. The game is very playable and quite fun.

For me, Uncharted and MGS4 easily stand out above the rest.

My 3rd favorite is not so clear cut.. too tough of a decision with the recent selection of great games.
