The technical graphics is, I think, a misnomer. They evaluate to the best of my knowledge who deserves to win by gauging what they feel is the best blend of graphical fidelity and artistic styIe. I.e., it's a subjective matter.

A bit of a high claim, that there were games that "deserved to win". This is their opinion, not much you can argue about that.

Final Fantasy X and XII
Monster Rancher 2
Most Mario platformers
Metroid Prime
Super Metroid

Those are the first that come to mind.

Kevin thinks HP is better. And from what I've seen, I'm inclined to agree.

So MGS4 is meat-headed? And Demon's Souls, which requires incredible skill and patience? And I'm not a fan of MMOs, so there's no chance SWTOR will win anything from me, at least. A bad move by BW.

Absolutely no way. I'm a gamer, but I'm not spending that much money on a gaming device. I could take the PS3's 600 bucks, but 1000 is ridiculous. And I don't buy the systems for technology either, so I wouldn't find it justifiable to pay that much just for high-end technology.

Yes. Unless graphics mean more to you than gameplay. It's totally fine to me, but I value gameplay far more than I ever will graphics. The reason why I think many retro games beat modern games many times over.

If we're talking about general graphics king, I'd go with FFXIII because it is, IMO, the best looking game this generation in terms of overall presentation. But of course, in system wars, people are only interested in looking realistic. Pfft, I say.

For me, it would be:

1. Final Fantasy X
2. Final Fantasy XII
3. Final Fantasy VII
4. Final Fantasy Tactics
5. Final Fantasy IX
6. Final Fantasy XIII
7. Final Fantasy VI
8. Final Fantasy X-2
9. Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings
10. Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core

Haven't finished the last four, so those are wild card entries. And yeah, I loved XIII.

Why would I sell the Wii, it has SMG2. Weird. Anyway, SS looks awesome, so it's another reason to have a Wii.

L.A. Noire and Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together are equal in my mind for now, and Portal 2 is in second place.
