buy another 8800 GTS that'll defantly be more faster then an ultra and will most likely save you some, the 8800GT is abit faster then the GTS but I'd rather get another 8800 GTS and SLI them you'll have an unessary amount of ram though you'lldefantly get better FPS regardless of what resolution you are using.

I was just about going to reccomend you Dell's latest gaming laptop with 2X 8700GT those card are very fast, only a few FPS slower then the 8800 cards, 2 of them would be as powerful as a GTX or even more powerful.

go for the Dell laptop for sure

sometimes dual card setups can benefit, 2X 8800 GTS in SLI are cheaper then one 8800 ultra and are more powerful by a little bit, Im building a new rig for christmas and I gonna be running 2X 8800 GT in SLI and from what i've herd they are allmost as fast as a 8800 GTS so 2 of them will be about the same as an ultra or even more powerful.

still though some games have problems with SLI and only read a single card, still though you can gain 80% extra FPS regarless of what resolution you are using dual card setups are good for getting that extra power and speed increase, like 2 8600 GTS in SLI will be about as powerful as a 8800 GTS but it will have 512MB of RAM instead of 320 wich nodays you really cant survive on anything under 512MB, unless if its a extremly poweful card like theXFX 8800GTS FATAL1TY card.

sorry for the long post.........

yea sorry I was thinking about the 7800GS wich is still a powerful card today

I dont believe that ATI will do to well with crysis I saw a video of the 2900XT playing crysis and it was jumping around at 22 to 8 FPS, I thought that was just poor, the card is ment to get faster since its using more of the RAM.

your video card will allready come with the cables, it should some with a HD composite cable wich will turn the S video into HD composite then hook up the composite cables then at the other end is HDMI then slot that into your BRAVIA's HDMI slot then your computer will come through as HD then crysis will look really special.

I know for a fact that a 7600GT can max out games and it is allmost 3 years old, a 7600GT can max bioshock, timeshift, MOH airborne, lost plantet as well.

2x 8800 GT will defantly last you 2 years, 2x 8800 ultras will last you approxmatly 3 years and then some before it startes shuttering when playing crysis 2 on max:P

alright 2X 8800GTS is more powerful then an ultra and then some, but wHAT i'D reccomend is 2X XFX 8800 GTS fatal1ty edition there slightly more expensive then a religuar clocked 8800 GTS card but they run just as fast and in some cases faster then a GTX.

crytek allready say that 1 8800 GTS will max the game out, who ever said that when it comes out no computer will be able to max it is stupid.

man you dont have anything to upgrade you cant get better then an ultra, if there is anything to upgrade then get another ultra if you want, that'll last you about2 to3 years, heck even one will last you that long.

my PC specs are:

INTEL CORE 2 duo E6750

2GB 800MHZ RAM

case TT armor

an XFX8800 GTX XXX

ASUS P5N-E SLI MODBO

22 inch LCD

Im sure this is anough for crysis
