if your using AGP interface then go for the X1950 pro 512 MB verson (wich is the only one avialable for AGP) its the fastest AGP card on the market and is allmost one of the faster DX9 cards, the X950XT is a tad faster but the X1950 pro is only a little bit slower.
a 350 watt will do for X1950 cards and theyw ill max bioshock, world in conflict, medal of honor airborne, supreme commander and many more high end games.
But if you are using PCI X16 interface I'd reccomend getting a 8600GTS overclocked try to find a factory overclocked verson since there stable and run at a higher clock rate. while the 8600GTS is slower then the X1950 pro is supports DX10 so it will max all of DX10 games and some DX9 games as well.
still the decision is your depending on your interface the 8600GTS is the same price as the X1950 and the X1950 is the same price as the 7900GS.
^^^^^ exactly what ben said, The ATI all in wonder and the ATI HD 2900XT has built in video capture, but no nvidia based cards have a RCA input cable.
if you want to capture PS3 videos like I do then I'd reccomend buying a capture card there pretty cheap and they capture in high quality.
I reccomend compro or pinnacle brands, though any other brand would do, all they need to have is the yellow composite input.
man your PC insent bad at all I have an AMD 2500 overclocked to 3200 at 3.2GHZ, with a nvidia 7600GT, and a gig of ram, I can play bioshock, medal of honor airbourne, ETQW, command and conquor 3 and many other games at max settings and it never drops below 28FPS.
with that rig you'll be fine until the end of the year or even abit longer, the 7800GTX is allmost one of the fastest DX9 cards, and will run crysis at medium settings or even at max if you turn of AA and set the resolution to 800X600, plus that 2GB of ram will rock.
you shouldent be concernded about upgrading right now, though if there is anything you'd wanna upgrade its the processer still though its not a bad processer really.
stick with what you got nvidia is going to be realsing there new 8800 GT soon wich isquite cheaper then the 8800 GTS and is allmost as fast.
so for now hold of upgrading the video card, if there is anything you wanna upgrade the processer is really the only thingpeople would say to upgrade though you'd need to find out if you modo/motherboard supports dual core CPUs
I got my 360 2 days ago the first day is was ok the disc player made weird sounds thought then yesturday i realised it was scratching my disc it did some really bad callotral damage to my rented disc of greats of war. and when ever I got to a sertin part the error message would come up saying the disc is unreadble.
I took it back yesturday and they swaped it, now this one is just as a bad it completly wrecked halo 3 wich I rented and it still got the error message with grears of war, and on top of that the disc play kept on making weird sounds.
I hate 360s right now there to faulty to waste half a K on and microsoft need to lift there game, the only reason while im still keeping my ps3 is because sony is reilable, they have had no harware problems and there hardware is alot more powerful.
but I gotta admit the 360 has a better online support.
I gonna take it back this thursday for a full refund I cant take it anymore......
nah those are abit to high 320 MB verson is perfect for a 17 inch and possibly a 19 inch, but the standared resolution should be 1024 by 768 wich will give you a boost of allmost 7 FPS rather then using 1280 by 720.
but if you keep in beetween 1024 by 768 and 1280 by 700, you by playing games fine for ages and would get the same perfomace as the 640 MB verson.
