2 got me the most hyped (but let me down a little, while leaving me absolutly baffled once i finished it)...3was the most "solid" one for me...but 1 was the original...and imo the best, best story, best characters!!! Plus, i believe TTS improved on what the original already had really well, bringing it up there with the original.

P.S. I hope that MGS 4 blows all of them outta the water!!! (It looks like it might!!! *fingers crossed*)
