Hi. Is it worth me spending £246 (im in uk) on upgrading from the 8600GTS to the 8800GTX? Will i be able to run crysis fine on an 8600GTS? Thanks

No but there is a dead cat that is stiff as a board behind the "regeneration thing"(forgot the name). It's fun to smack around. I tried to play ER and shock it back to life using electrobolt but my efforts were futile.vendettared468

oh really? ok thanks. that saves me some dough :). If it helps, the 2 ghz would be in an Alienware M7950 and the 2.16 Ghz would be in a Dell XPS m1710

Hi, i have narrowed it down to two laptops and they have the exact same spec apart from the processor - 1 of which is 2 Ghz and the other is 2.16 Ghz. Is it worth me spending £50(im in uk)to make it a 2.16 instead of a 2? Will there be any noticeable difference if i do or dont? Thanks

ps. i will be gaming on this laptop :)

I'll tell you what it was. It was simply Microsoft prepping your Xbox for the wireless guitar which is being released soon. Thats the only thing. (btw, i know this because of one of the other topics about the same thing)
