I have tried to get my veteran status updated for a few weeks now. For a while the site was down to fix the issues I think and now I can actually log in, but when I do it shows none of my stats on my soldier page, I can't select my ps3 account, and ea.com account wont let me link my gamertag. I got on to chat with a tech support guy and gave him my info to link my gamertag and he said there is no searchable account with that gamertag???? WTF. I know this is a widespread issue with problems showing that you've played BC Heroes and what not. Anyone else have this issue or know of any solutions? What might work or any suggestions?

When are people going to realise that going for selfish kills and camping miles away from the action with a sniper rifle is not the way to play this game.Most recons dont even spot(which is their job)I am just as happy getting kill assists for my team and helping secure the objective.K/D ratio is meaningless in battlefield games.

Just played a game of rush last night where my team had one sniper, which isn't a problem, except he wasn't spotting or anything at all really. Just sitting, didn't even follow forward when we blew the M-COM stations, he did move however, just didn't play at all. So, yes I understand what you mean.

I wish I had enough down time to play that game for "6 DAYS 13 Hours" or even more than a day for that matter ... but I guess having a full time job and a wife and a home don't qualify me as a hardcore player. SUCKS TO BE ME!

No. You have to use the hdmi to dvi and use the regular av cable to output audio. I use the av for audio through my pc audio input, but you also need an RCA to 3.5mm jack adapter for that too. Unless you can find an adapter with vga output through the av output on the ps3 which I have one for the xbox but dvi gives a better picture. However if I'm not mistaken your monitor needs to be hdcp compatibel, or whatever that encryption is called.

Yes, I know that 12 gauge slugs option only works with shotguns, and although I have a few of them availible, when selected the option doesn't come up in either spec list. And I know I met the requirements cause it doesn't show the, you need this rank to unlock/ you have this rank right now but it is still shaded in gray. Anyway, I'm well past reaching rank 13 and the armor magically became usable, still no shotgun slug though.

I've been playing for a while unlocked all the vehicle unlocks and the sniper unlocks, as well as various others that work perfectly fine, specifically weapon specific items. After two or three rank-ups I've unlocked the 12gauge slug option and the Ceramic Armor, but the game doesn't show them in the kit selection menu between spawning, so I can't use them at all. Has anyone else had this problem or is there other things that must be unlocked in order to use them?

Yeah, I just had what would have been a really great game. WOULD have ranked up had I been able to finish. Middle of spawn/weapon select menus and the system completely froze up. This seems like a system error but I've only had problems with it in BFBC2, though it has only happened to me twice. Very frustrating. If it's a software issue that over uses system resources or whatever, I wish they would take care of it. If it's certain systems that only do this...well it sucks to be us then.
