Lets really mix it up, they should make it Call of Duty: Korea!!!! yeah. or Call of Duty: Spanish-American Warfare, how sweet would that be. or better yet...Call of Duty: Civil Warfare I bet the North wins.

Nothing deserves to be on 1080i. If the day ever comes that hd tv is transmitted in 1080p will be the day i shut myself off from the rest of society. When in doubt p is the route. besides unless your tv is like 50" or bigger you will see little difference between the 1080 and 720 resolutions....from a reasonable distance.

I dont think that question is really relevant. It all depends on the manufacturer and use.

I personally dont think it makes a difference because everything stays on standby pretty much all the time, dvd player, tv, xbox 360...how else do you think you can turn it on with the controller or remote. something has to be on for it to receive the signal.

yes its display settings-video output format-select hdmi-custom-then deselect 1080p and 1080i.....then scroll over and it'll show you your settings then hit x or scroll again and it will ask you if you want to set up your audio settings or finish.

On your ps3 go to the display settings under video output format and chose custom instead of automatic, you can select 720p there if you need to.

[QUOTE="Duckman5"][QUOTE="CanadianCR"]

It shouldn't go to 1080p if you don't have it ..

Plus if you can't see a difference, you may have bad eyes ..

CanadianCR

No most TVs will accept a 1080p signal but it isn't "true" full HD. Yeah and play a game and if you see no difference check to make sure it's outputting HD and if it is then I don't know what to tell you.

Really .. you do learn something new everyday .. :lol:

But that sounds kind of stupid .. why not just make it 1080p ..

If its an older plasma tv it was fairly rare to find a true 1080p display a few years ago.
