How do I do it? Is there a way I can test my speed and see how good it is? I just picked up NHL 08, I've played 3 online games. The first was flawless, the second was unbearable, and the third started off the same as the second before the other guy quit.

I'm interested in keeping my gold account... right now I've only got Oblivion, as I got my 360 last week. I'm not a huge fan of shooters, but I might give Rainbow Six Vegas a try... I'm more likely to pick up Madden and NHL to play online.

My question is... is live really full of idiots who just trashtalk and don't just play the game for fun? I know everyone around here is just gonna say "no, I'm a good guy" or whatever, but I'm asking if the majority of users are like that, or if that kind of juvenile behaviour is confined to a game like Halo or something.

Lets be serious... I'm not giving microsoft another 50 bucks if it means I get to listen to some punk toss slurs at me.
