This is an arguement that goes on and on. I personally have had it connected both ways, and can't tell the difference. If you do get an HDMI cable, don't pay a lot for one. This is another arguement, but if you do some research on it, most say that you can just get a cheap HDMI cable, and it is no different than if you pay a lot for one from a store like Best Buy. monoprice.com, is a great place for all of your cable needs. I have bought from them many times, and never had any problems.

I just use the one that came with my 360. It works, and that's all that matters to me.

If you used some real gaming headsets, you would slap yourself for accepting the default headsets that come with the system.

And if you listen to my surround sound system, you would slap yourself for accepting those gaming headphones. Not to sound cocky, but Im sure it came off that way***

Since when did this topic become about surround sound systems ? I am well aware of how a nice surround sound system sounds.I dont care about that considering I have a family and kids that wouldnt appreciate me blaring a surround sound system when they are watching something in the other room. I was asking about Headsets.

I wasn't trying to be rude but from my understanding gaming headsets enhance your experience tremendously.

I noticed that Dell has the Turtle beach X11s on sale for 34.99. Do I pull the trigger? What do you think are the best bang for your buck when it comes to Gaming headsets ?

Yes.

You'd need a usb mic input.

Would take 2 usb's: 1 for power. 1 for usb mic input.

Stigmatist

Thanks for responding. What if I just want to use it for sound, no mic ?
